That was beautiful. The Massey 590 is a classic, and you did a great job on it! Love the old promotional footage you included. Greetings from USA.

The 4.1 litre engine on the 590 had good torque, but cold starts during winter was a comedy show. Power steering was the worst ever imagined. And the doors... My thumb got mashed in the door once and the nail came off. And none of it matters, because it looks great.

@MagnusMarthinsenWoodsman, Magnus, I had to force Kuma (my Akita) into the canoe, hold him there, and re-assure that he was fine. Kuma trusts me implicitly and knows that I'm not going to hurt him nor let him get hurt. It's un-natural for canines to be in an unstable vessel on water, they have to adapt. Now Kuma jumps in as soon as the canoe hits the water, and he rides no problem.

Magnus thank you again, I get much pleasure from your videos alas walking in woods like yours is something I cannot do as I have an allergy to many biting insects who find me a most suitable portable meal!
@MagnusMarthinsenWoodsman26 күн бұрын
Thank you very much sir. That really means a lot to me :). Yes, insects can really ruin trips in the woods, that's the down side with summer travel, kinda make you look forward to winter! Anyway, thanks for watching my films! More to come soon. - Magnus

I like the transformation a lot . It's so unfortunate for us here in the US to be getting the crappy luxury types of Range Rovers which come in costing over a hundred grand and then drop down to six g at 90 k miles or less sometimes . I know the rest of the world get the good ones with the diesel engine and basic no nonsense SUV

Come on mang. You didn't say how much it cost you. You say how much a genuine Twisted one cost and then don't let your audience know how much yours cost? In violation of the law of video making- if there is a gun on the table, it must go off by the end of the 2nd scene.
@MagnusMarthinsenWoodsman2 ай бұрын
Well Ihavent really summed it all up.. but, compared to the 195k (GBP) that the original costs, I didn't spend much.. The wheels/tires was the biggest expense, around £4000. The body parts probably was in total of around £1200 with the shipping etc. Paint was £200. Then it was the Harris tweed cubby box, which was kinda expensive.. The price is available on Exmoor trim. But all in all by doing everything myself, I didn't spend as much that you might think. :) - Magnus
