Installed mine months and months ago before this video existed. Great sounding horn!

Hands down the best & cleanest install video for a Rivian running board.

Which grade of impact wrench did you use? I am finding mid torque and high torque options. Would the mid torque like the Milwaukee 2962 (650 ft-lbs breakaway torque) be enough to remove the frame bolts or does it need the high torque version? Thank you.

2024 R1S passenger side install is little bit tricky, need to remove 6 T20 screws of the wheelwell and then you will be able to locate the factory horn. Also make sure the connection behind the horn are plugged in correctly mine was loose and was not working. Spend 44 minutes to make all wires were connected properly and then found out the wire was loose.

Do you need liquid loc-tite to ensure that the bolts do not become loose over time?

Why is this bar tubular in design while the cyber truck is angular? The design looks terrible and out of place. Thanks but no thanks!

Good video and good product! I added these to a 2024 R1S and panel 3 had no ribs. (Panel 1 does not have a second rib.) If you’re adding to a R1S you’ll have to dry fit panel 3 and mark the location of the ends of the bracket. Alternatively, use can use panel 2 to locate the drill locations on panel 3. Also, pay attention to which end of the panel they are measuring from. Measure twice, cut once!

Got mine today and installed it. It was ‘almost’ as easy as the video. The clip on the frame gave me a little trouble but overall very happy with the product. Sounds great.

@@notsecure @AI-Driven-Entrepreneur Thanks for the question. We have not noticed any change in range or efficiency. The Rivian community has been adding running boards for a couple of years and have the same results, not real change compared to not adding the running boards.

Love these. ❤❤ Wish they were more competitively priced. I would expect to pay $1,300+ for automatic running boards.

Thank you for the feedback. If we made them using regular carbon steel they would be less expensive, but they also wouldn't last the same way that these will being stainless steel. These will last as long as your Cybertruck does basically worry free.

Video instructions worked well, much easier for me to follow than the printed instructions, thanks! For anyone watching deciding if this is a good buy, go for it! The bracket and pre-wiring was very well made and convenient. Sure, you could DIY a little cheaper but it would take longer and require a lot of tinkering and fitting; totally worth the small premium. The sound of the horn is much deeper than comes across in this video and the other reviews I’ve seen online. I like it. It’s like a deep train/truck horn.
