Waaay more complicated than it needs to be, a mechanical system and hydraulic I dont see the necessity - but its always been that way with Rolls even the newer all hydraulic systems are dual systems - but the thing they do better than anything else is LEAK

Firstly, thank you for the guide on the servo adjustment, it’s turned a car that never really stopped well into something that put the passenger into the windscreen on the first test! I have found that the nuts seem to ‘unwind’, and need adjusting again after a few trips. I’ve just tightened them up again, but any tips to stop that happening?

I just reupholstered the whole interior on one and I’m having issues with the rear windows not going down. I hear the relays in the trunk click but no window movement. Wondering if I swapped the connectors on the interior light/asc/ hazard switch strip. There’s only one connector on the window switch panel. Where can I get the wiring diagram for this thing?!

Nice Ronny, thank you. I'm confident my 57 S will have a leak or two, and I'm a little daunted by a rebuild. Between your videos and the work shop manual I feel however I'm in with a good chance of a successful one. Thanks for taking the time.

Hi ronny have you ever experienced bleeding a front accumalator only to find when going to top up it's the rear reservoir compartment that needs topping up. At present i have no fluid circulating the brake system past the accumalator bleed screws so i currently have no brakes on the car. i have renewed every flexy hose and accumlator hoses renewed and rebuilt the valve bodies exchanged the spheres from flying spares and refitted still to no avail. The only thing i have not checked are the distribution valves could this be my problem but i cannot for the life of me understand what's happening when i am bleeding the spheres surely the level should drop from the front compartment when i bleed the front sphere can you advise please totally baffled stef. ps car is a 1975 corniche master cylinder car

My mechanic tells me I have to replace all four struts on my arnage 2000. I have been told that the front can be cross referenced with BMW. Is there any cross referencing for the rear? What's you take on the aftermarket parts? Can struts be rebuilt for the arnage?

Hi another very interesting video on the Cloud 3 engine. do you have a video in pulling the liners out and reinstalling them. Someone told me that I need to heat the block up to 150degC before pulling the liners. Is this true? Do you freeze the liners before reinstalling? thanks Hugh

Hi Ronnie. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your Rolls Royce Technical forums . I have subscribed to your channel. I am in the UK and after watching how you break away the mystery surrounding how these cars are put together and how to service and repair them. I have recently taken ownership of a rather unloved and neglected 1973 Silver Shadow. This particular car has been languishing in the back storage area of a local body shop for almost five years after being taken in as a reluctant part exchange for a vehicle they were selling. The body shop had the indignant idea of turning this beautiful majestic motor car into their shop pickup. truck . However and rather luckily for both me and this particular Rolls Royce the advent of covid and a busy work schedule meant the pickup plans were put on hold for a while. In the meantime a few months ago I happened to be in said body shop on other business and noticed at the back of several rows of every day mundane cars was the roofline of something rather special. There she was , a very sad looking Silver Shadow. After looking around the car and seeing the body was in very sound condition as was the interior and after hearing what plans they had in store for this beautiful piece of Automotive art I couldn’t allow this structurally sound car to be chopped up and turned into a pickup truck. Discussions and negotiations ensued and a deal was struck and I now have a 1973 Silver Shadow. The point of this war and peace long email is that, had I , had not discovered your Rolls Royce Technical forums on KZbin I would never have had the courage or confidence to have bought such a complex and mysterious motor car . I am sixty years old and throughout my life I have resorted many many cars and lorries and always wanted to own a Silver Shadow but because these cars , at least here in the United Kingdom have always been shrouded in mystery regarding their complexity and there isn’t anyone here like you in terms of someone showing and sharing their technical knowledge expertise and experience in maintaining and repairing these vehicles. We are lucky to have Introcar and Flying Spares here which again with their amazing volume of stock makes getting the parts very easy but access to all the parts is no good if you don’t have the right knowledge on how to fit them. I know by now, if you have got this far , you are probably thinking, this guy in England has taken on way more than he realises and is in for a world of pain and you are probably right but as a car lover I just simply couldn’t allow this beautiful motor car to be defaced in this way ….. Anyway, if you have got this far then I would like to thank you for your time in reading this and to say I may be contacting you in the future for help and advice as I make my way through this journey of restoring my Silver Shadow. Thank you once again for your excellent detailed KZbin videos on these cars. Oh by the way if it’s of any interest the chassis number is SRH15250 and the engine number is 15250. Kind regards. Stuart Lee.

Bentley Mk.6 and R type are relatively simple and there is plenty of space to work. You can do it yourself. The Mk.6 has a handbook and tools in a pull out tray under the dashboard, passengers side.
