For the first five episodes of the new season, the choice of the writers to refuel rivalries and differences to the point we see repeats of past arguments from the last seasons, such as Johnny vs Daniel, Sam vs Tori, Hawk vs Dimitri, and Miguel vs Robby seemed force. The tension became very predictable. Season 5 was focused on resolution and trying to come together after 4 seasons of hatred amongst the characters, and now season 6 reestablishes old tensions to up the stake. I know the characters are all flawed, but we already saw multiple progressions and regressions of their relationships it should have been mostly resolved at this point. The drama could have focused more on other characters such as Anthony vs Kenny or Muscles with his old friends to help explore their character depth more.

I just finished watching Part 1 of season 6. And I gotta say, I did not expect this at all. I knew Kreese would be here with his Cobra Kai, but Tory to be back with them again was very unexpected. I had all reasons to believe that she redeemed herself, but we’ll see what happens. Can’t wait for Part 2. 🐍🥋💪

P.s I say it was Robbys nightmare and not real! Where was the crowd and Chozen. Also ck had just 4 students and Tory would not team up with kim again!!!

Wait a damn minute... Kenny has been gone for a minute. He might be joining Kreese next to Tory. Think about it. Just like how Tory felt upset that she couldn't let her emotions out in her fight against Sam after the death of her mother, Kenny felt upset that he was embarrassed with the laxatives. He thinks Anthony did it, which shows that he might be joining Cobra Kai again to lash out for everyone treating him badly. If Kenny does join Cobra Kai in the Sekai Taikai, Robby is 101% fucked. I thought he was gonna win the Sekai Taikai. With all this going on, no way he wins now

Can we talk about the looks at the end. I mean Tory having “hollow eyes”, Robby’s shock, Kim and Kreese being exceedingly proud (prolly because of miyagi do’s reaction, Miguel’s in disbelief, idk what Sam was thinking but prolly oh no, could I have stopped this, and stuff along those lines, Daniel being oh no what did I do ((maybe), also did Daniel by himself decide hawk was going to replace Tory or did he talk it over with Tory), Johnny’s face was just YOU EFFED THIS UP LARUSSO, I can just imagine the next argument they have, and finally this may not seem important but it could play smth, Kwon looking at Tory, almost like yes, WE WILL WIN THIS, mostly just pride. Also this is just my interpretation based off of MY opinions, and sorry for it being so long.

This was bullshit Tory had potential with miyagifang but they through that potential away jumping ship and betraying your friends doesn’t make sense plus I wanted Anthony to have his moment for the first time but of course not part 1 was a bit of a mess I really hope things get better

Thats really my only critique with this show. This constant back and forth of characters changing up between good and bad. It is kinda tiring cause it never really changed alot since season 3.
