Why is it that threat calls from desert rain frogs are the cutest thing in the world where as mate calls from the same species sound like something from an analog horror

AWDs have become my fav animal. I love to see multiple litter packs. Hopefully the Alphas arent harsh and sometimes cruel & mean to the Betas if they take over their litter (Jane Goodall's wild dogs of Africa). I've seen some videos with as many as 3 litters at once, and looked very likely only few days apart if not same day- 21 pups. Seen some videos that the Alpha allowed the Betas access and care for the pups as well with a pretty harmonious upbringing and support of the pups. Also seen some videos where a single pair of AWDs successfully cared for and reared as many as 12-16 pup litters on their own, followed by 2nd and 3rd litters, which those inturn aided in the caring for and support of the recent litters. Anyway point here is #SNARES - they are ENRAGING to me. I sure wish conservationists would take heed to my suggestions about the fact that since they can't stop poachers and setting traps n snares that at least try to get them to use something like nylon instead of wire bc then at least the AWD would have a chance to chew itself free using it's scissor like sharp sheering teeth to cut threw, where as the intended prey only have vegetation grinding flat molars unlikely to chew threw. That would likely help tremendously. We need to do the best and most we can to help ensure this remarkable species survival done it's man's fault for devastating their numbers, all bc of a misunderstanding, misperception, and sheer ignorance or hatred for them. Or at least try. Great example to use nylon water skiing rope would serve a great purpose in both ways for all to benefit.

It is the same thing of what the Eskimos up in the Arctic North of Greenland, Northern Canada, Northern Alaska, and Far-East Russia are doing to the Endangered Bowhead Whales, Narwhals, and Belugas. They are going after Baby Bowhead Whales, when the female Bowhead whales could only give birth to one single baby, and it takes over 25 years for bowhead whales to reach sexual maturity. There is only 50,000 Bowhead Whales left, and 75,000 narwhals left in the wild, and they are still being hunted by Asiatic Eskimos in the arctic. Anyone who criticize the cruelty of Eskimo Whaling, and how that is causing the Bowhead whale population to decrease, would be labeled a racist. Even marine conservationist, and Greenpeace are afraid to be called a racist for criticizing Eskimos hunting endangered whales, and narwhals, since the government is allowing Eskimos to torture these endangered whales to death, and lead them to near extinction.

I ate this is Papua New Guinea! The local people legally hunt and it’s a major part of their diet. Before you get triggered and rant, I didn’t kill them and it would have been extremely disrespectful for me to have declined it to the family who prepared it. It’s a matter of survival to them when you have no money.

They have no money but they have boats and equipment to kill large sea animals, okay. Surely it is easier to harvest meat from pigs or whatever? They are so poor, they can only decimate dugongs… give me a break.
