For the XV125 or for the XV535? You wrote both names...
@mohamedzaflanseedin61028 күн бұрын
@ or isnt both one?? Virago 125 2004 manufactured. 🙏
@CarbKingYT8 күн бұрын
No, different motorcycles and different carburetors. Unfortunately, there is only the complete slider for your motorcycle. www.woembi.de/Gasschieber-YAM-XV125-Virago?gi=1

Hello which way do you bend the tab regarding float if it too high or too low no one mentions that
@CarbKingYT11 күн бұрын
I didn't mention it because it's pretty self-explanatory. If you bend the little tab away from the float needle, the float moves further into the carburetor body, so you have a higher fuel level. The smaller the distance between the edge of the carburetor body and the edge of the float, the higher the level. :-)

@CarbKingYT thank you👍

No Problem. :-) There are many more videos to come. We are busy translating from our German channel, where there are already over 700 videos. If you like our work, we would be happy if you share the channel.

@@CarbKingYT does this apply to Weber dcoe carbs
@CarbKingYT8 күн бұрын
Unfortunately I can't tell you that, I mainly deal with motorcycle carburetors.

That can happen, but certainly not in the number that I come across in my work. I remove such counterfeit components several times a month.

I have a GL500 that needs some carb work. They are essentially the same carbs are the CX500, correct?
@CarbKingYTАй бұрын
Yes, the carburettors are basically the same. So you can work with the video. Good luck.

Useful video! You have mentioned a push in jet type carburetor. I have it, but it seems like it is possible to take it out with pliers. Also do you by chance know what size that little washer is from the jet you were pulling out with a paper clip hook? Thanks!
@CarbKingYTАй бұрын
Please excuse the late reply. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact size of the washer, there are some differences. Roughly 3.5mm inside, 5mm outside.

Hi I have a leak between the 2nd and the third carb where the fuel flows (T-junction). I think the ORings there are done and must be replaced. Can I separate only the two pairs directly in the middle?
@CarbKingYTАй бұрын
Please excuse the late reply. The carburetors are on a common rail, so you have to separate everything anyway. Dismantling just the T-piece in the middle without the rest falling apart is certainly difficult. And the question is what's the point of it, the other O-rings won't be in much better condition.

Please excuse the late reply. You can find the setting data for your vehicle either in the repair manual or in the video description of our carburetor video, if we have one online for your vehicle. Alternatively, take a look at our German channel "Vergaseronkel", where we already have over 700 carburetor videos, of course also with the corresponding setting data in the video description online. We are busy translating, and many English videos are still to come. If you like our work, please share our channel.

Which way do I bend the metal tongue if the there is excess gad leaking from the overflow?
@CarbKingYT9 ай бұрын
If the fill level is too high, the float body must be further away from the carburettor housing.

Hi What the size of the new screws?
@CarbKingYT Жыл бұрын
There is no general answer to that, it always varies with different carburetors.

I dislike those rubber seals so much. Sometimes they can be a real pain in the butt. Call me oldskool. But I miss paper gaskets.
@CarbKingYT Жыл бұрын
I know exactly what you mean. 😉But paper seals also have disadvantages, for example they are sometimes really difficult to remove if they have been installed for years...
