What size motor and hydraulic pump are you running?

If you are in sandy ground or sandy loam it will work but getting clay or have rocks gives you another challenge.

I have used Rusty's pounders for a decade and built miles of fence professionally on the blue ridge mountains to clay substrate of Georgia. Also he is driving in north central VA which had an average top-soil nlayer of .25".

Very nice tool! Seems like every fence I ever put in was in a god awful position on a hillside in the woods, I never get to do wide open pasture like that I’m jealous.

Why not use hearing protection? Good video. Awesome Machine. When you think they can't make it any better, they always come out with an improvement.

This will work great unless you have hard rocky ground. What would you do if you drive a post in too far? How do you pull it out of the ground.

Now that is a really nice post driver system. Sure could have used that several years ago when I had to drive 30 posts. I used a one-man auger and manual post hole digger . Believe me, I would have loved this device. Enjoyed a full-watch. Have a fine week . 👍🏽🙂.

Making it look easy. I've pounded in a mile of posts with a "Shaver" post driver on the front of a tractor. That driver is a lot safer than the Shaver which liked to find the knotty, very naughty, posts that would unremorsefully spit right out into your face, just one time, if you were inexperienced enough to be standing in front of it when a bad post couldn't take the 20 inch stroke pile driver! Just once...cuz u NEVER let it happen again lol ouch lol
