The first time i seen/ heard of tom waits was when over the air independent television was becoming popular. It seems like a fog has lifted scratching my brain to an early version of myself staying up all nite for no f*ckin reason other than i could. I want to believe i.f.c. showed random movies on saturday night for free, if you had time. It wasn't a black and white movie this time, thank god, it was some dude underneath a dining room table, as and for some reason a curtain was there...now some guy is singing...f*ck i cant seem to look away. I must have been 12 at the time, i thought it was a dream for the longest time until i came across his acting career. It was the black and white escape from prison movie with that oscar winner nobody hears from anymore...

Someone please help me find one particulat Tom Waits song. I don't know the name of it, only ever heard it one time. He would "sing" a line and trail off into muttering at the end of it. I couldn't really understand what he was saying but I found the trailing off into muttering strangely compelling. I would like to hear it again and have been playing TW videos in the hope of finding it again. So far, nothing. If anyone knows the song I'm looking for, please tell me the name of it. Thank you!
