In what world is the processs of hosting code that can decrypt something against DMCA rights and since when did those rights infringe on my own right that I can write whatever code I want? As long as I am not hosting binaries of the compiled code then I see no issue. The Yuzu devs were amateurs, $30k a month and they didnt create separate entities? Should have different entities/nonprofits separating actions they took just like cryptocurrency communities have.. Create separate entites/companies, one that does development and separate out any code etc, another entity that acts like a lobbying group that forks Yuzu and adds their patches etc. Instead they lumped everything together like a bunch of amareur children and now Nintendo only had to go after one entity versus several

I’ve always purchased Nintendo games, I own thousands of them dating back to NES (when it was still new!), mostly physical games. With all of their nonsense only getting worse, I stopped buying in protest, I simply missed out on new releases for awhile and I was okay with that. When they sent a copyright strike to Russ, I grabbed a picofly as a “f’ you” to big red. With this second strike, I’ve purchase Picofly kits for several friends and family Switches. I’m only one person, but I hope others are doing the same 😌🙏🏽 🏴‍☠️

Nonono, of course the Switch isn't to blame for EoW performance woes. Never even SUGGEST that the hardware is to blame for games like this. If your game isn't multi-platform you have no excuse not to optimise your game FOR the platform. There are way more technically impressive games for the platform anyway. Excusing poor optimization is just enabling people to release unoptimized crap on ALL platforms.

This is very weird on the Ryujinx vs Nintendo part. Brazil is one of those weird countries where piracy wins in court because their laws are complex and many companies don't understand them unless they have full departments working there with Brazilians. For sure something else happened there being it money, a cool job, or a very serious threat to the dev's family (this last on is a very common practice there and in countries surrounding Brazil). I remember reading about a big company losing not once but twice because what they claimed that was piracy was actually made with 0 code from the company, it was 100% reversed, so it was a different product thus considered legal. Even private servers there win because when they use full reversed code there. It's insane there since they've terrible taxes on stuff like games and electronic devices (any game is considered gambling and half of the price goes to the state or something like that wtf).

By Brazilian law there's absolute no scenario where Nintendo could treat him, I think they offered money and that's it
