Call up property managers and get into your local Facebook groups and market yourself. I do handyman for my father in law and he got on with home builders to get started but I’ve seen a lot of handymen on KZbin getting work through property managers and what not

Whatever you removed in the beginning is not something that you would do to a standard exterior door. Stops are not screwed on to an exterior jamb. It’s a single rabbet and kerfed jamb for weatherstrip. Whatever is going on here is completely unnecessary.

@@georgen5882I agree, I replaced what the owner wanted, with the type they wanted. A direct replacement. The other door jamb in the back was seeled correctly. Sometimes you just do whatever they ask 😵💫

@ryandrury6102 Connecting 2x4 to posts- 3.5” Picket to 2x4- .5” All material is pressure treated pine. Pickets are 6 foot by 5.5 inch 2”x4”x8’ for the runners Hope that helps!

First thing is to clean it thoroughly with a cleaner containing bleach. Then scrape out the out caulking with a caulk tool or flat head screwdriver. Then clean again and apply caulking. I have couple shorts that can help you if you click on my page. Thanks!

Its true. Got all my 60v off facebook. Got me 2 miter sliding saws. A new 780 model and the new cordless 60v model for 500. Both brand new in box never opened. Still got plastic wrap around box. 50 dollars for a brandnew 630 drywall screw gun. 150 bucks for a pro 300 simpson strong tie deck gun for 150. List goes on.

I live in europe and i not not one person with a disposable. Ever since i was a kid i saw women throwing trash and food waste down the drain in movies and such, is it really the intended purpose? Most houses have them here in the USA, in TX at least. The downside is they get jammed, corroded and smell bad if not maintained. But composting food or just throwing it away is starting to gain traction slowly in Austin.
