Good smooth video. I use 4K/50 ,slow gimbal and full auto. Everyone has their own preferences.
@FloriTravels18 күн бұрын
Why do you record in 4k 60fps instead of 4k 30fps?
@simonsonghurst.travel15 күн бұрын
I prefer the smoother look with 60fps. Also, it is easier for exposure to get right angle shutter if I don't have an ND filter.
@Tanner_Video21 күн бұрын
Love your video! For when shooting in D-Log do you have specific Pocket 3 settings you use for sharpness etc. or do you just leave it all on auto, throw it in D-Log, and shoot away? Newbie here and getting my Pocket 3 next week.
@simonsonghurst.travel15 күн бұрын
Sharp settings are best left as factory defaults. I normally shoot 4k 60Fps at 1/120 with a low ISO 50-400. Hope that helps.

Hi, love the video and very helpful. I would like to please know how long does the battery last and where do you keep the microphone when recording. Thanks
@simonsonghurst.travel15 күн бұрын
4k 60 I normally get 46mins with battery grip. Most of the time hold the mic in my left hand pointing at any interesting sound sources.

Thanks for the video I'm thinking of getting myself OP3 and start walking!! Why not shoot in 4K24fps you are not doing any slo-mo.. TIA
@simonsonghurst.travel15 күн бұрын
I prefer the smoother look at 60fps and if I forget my ND filters is the best setting for right angle shutter. Hope that helps.

Do you just hold it or do you use some sort of harness? May be a bit tiring if you hold it.

Just hold it works perfectly. It's very small and has little weight.

Do you use 60 frame just to slow it down later in editing or there is a nother reason? Great video ❤
@simonsonghurst.travelАй бұрын
60 fps gives the footage a much smoother / realistic look.

Everyone always go over the settings but no one ever shows us how to position on the body like where does it go? But thanks for the video!!
@simonsonghurst.travelАй бұрын
You just hold the camera normally. You don't put it on your body. The gimbal does the smoothing

Great video! Can you do a video on how you hold the DJI Osmo 3 to prevent bouncing? Also for how long can you video record 4K 60 fps before you run out of battery? Thank you!!!
@simonsonghurst.travel15 күн бұрын
Just hold it absorbing the bounce with your arm. I get about 45mins from camera with battery grip at 4K 60

Subscribed! great channel. I just have one question in my mind from the last few days Most street-walking vloggers take continuous, long or short videos. How long is best for general?
@simonsonghurst.travel26 күн бұрын
Good question! 1 take around 10mins is more than enough. KZbin will push longer videos thus making you more money via ad placement.

No one's really making a lot of money doing that anymore. The market is saturated now.
@simonsonghurst.travel26 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment. All depends on the quality of the video you are out putting to be honest. Market is just pushing content creators to be better and more skilled.

The problem is that if you live too far away from ideal locations to film, the expense to get their far outweighs the income.
@simonsonghurst.travel26 күн бұрын
Then it's probably not the right niche if it's not easily accessible. Plenty of other things you can do from home to make money on KZbin. I plan on making more suggestions on this soon if that helps

Don't people see that you are holding a camera and recording them or possibly interpret it as some sort of spray weapon? Thank you for such an informative video!!
@simonsonghurst.travel2 ай бұрын
You really don't get much attention or people noticing it. If you walk and look at your phone it's pretty much the same position so people don't really notice the difference.

My V2 doesn’t look like this. Instead of a loop centred on either side, there are 2 loops on both sides but on either side of center-so it is not possible to hang a strap in a balanced manner.

Hi Simon, do you know if this camera will attach on to a bicycle? I've seen a few biking videos which look really cool.
@simonsonghurst.travel2 ай бұрын
Yes it will. Depends how smooth the terrain is through. I wouldn't risk the jolts from the bike damaging the gimbal. Would recommend the Peak Design capture clip with adapter and wear it instead.
