I do wrestling with coat $150 to sign up $50 for singlet or if you want to rent one $100 also $100 to rent a head gaurd or is you want to buy one it is $30 and then tournaments are $50 for each one sooooo..

Kitesurfing You want to be safe so you shouldn't go too cheap on the gear, it will cost you. Especially when you get multiple kites like most do. And it's very handy to take lessons in the beginning, again, you want to be safe. But getting advice from an experienced person also helps with technique and not wasting money on the wrong equipment. Or wasting money because you're incompetent trying to learn it yourself.

I play softball. It may not be as expensive as other sports but here is what my family pays: $1800 team fees $400 new bat every two-ish years $500 glove $2000 for hotels the whole season $150 gate fees for the whole season $80 cleats $35 batting gloves

Y'all are really taking the most professional prices, I've done both but there's so many things that aren't necessary for doing it. Just extra's you only really have to get when you go far (in my experience). When you start doing more important competitions.

i play travel softball- not saying it's super expensive, but god it's expensive! getting on the team (uniform, bag, helmet)-900+ hotels (over a full season)-~4,000 (my family) cleats-30-50 bat-100+ batting gloves-15-30 glove-30-50 mask-40 total- ~$5115 and i don't know, maybe i was wrong about the hotels, but this is mostly my team. it could even be just 1,000. but still its pretty expensive.

I don’t know if skiing is or not. But it’s about $500-$5000 for gear (depends which brand) and then lift up to the mountain is about $20-$200 depending how long you go, day passes usually cost around $150. But that’s Colorado. It’s cheaper in Europe but this is from my experience.
