Thanks for such a good review. This was actually the first niche fragrance I wanted to buy, because I wanted to have an oud fragrance. But then I decided to blind buy Eau Moheli instead, due to the prominent Ylang Ylang note and because I found it at a discount online. Never knew you have to push the cap like this. I have also ordered some other samples from the brand, but have not received them yet. I'll also order a decant of Oud Palao. The way you described it, sounds very interesting.

Does it have that "roasting chestnut" note from the Margiela? that's the part I like from it.

Pretty beastly fragrance, I would be careful with overspraying cause you gone choke some mfks out! In terms of the scent, I smell 99% Sauvage (not elixir!) just a bit sharper.

I don't agree that Asad is a clone of salvage elixir, because Asad was released in 2021, salvage elixir was released also in 2021. The fragrance notes of both are not an exact match, look at the notes of each side by side. Asad might smell like salvage elixir, but it doesn't mean it's a clone of it. I have fragrances in my collection that smells like one million classic original, but they are not a clone of one million original. Because a fragrance smells like something doesn't mean it's a clone of it. It just caught fire in the fragrance world that Asad is a clone of salvage elixir. They both was released in 2021. How could Lattafa clone elixir this quickly, in a matter of months if not weeks apart of their release?
