Nice! I’m getting ready to do that style so I’ve been learning. In one video I watched the woman just cut strips of cotton fabric to wrap around the frame instead of tape like you did. It was a little thicker, and perhaps not quite as tight as the tape but it seems like that would be a bit easier to pin through than the cotton tape. Thanks for the video! I liked subscribed, and I am looking to see if you made any more on lampshades.

Hi I just stumbled across this video which i recognise was done 6 years ago, but i see you are still active. I love this design and i grabbed your template, thank you! I brought it into design space but it is showing the score lines as a cut file and I am not sure how to change this without jeopardising the cut. In other words if I change it to score lines the outside lines also change to score. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I would think that if someone got sick from resin....they wouldn't want to come near it ever again..the craft is fun ...not worth the danger though... I got sick from resin, not life threatening but sick non the less..... was using a covid mask....doesn't work on covid and certainly not resin....I did not realize the vapors leach out in the room the entire 24 hours it's curing...I noticed it b/c days later after doing a project I could still smell and taste the resin...it was in my body.....even food tasted different like sour...when standing up I would get dizzy like I was going to faint....I thought it was low blood sugar.......I haven't done resin in three months and I'm just now starting to feel a little better...like my old self again...but there's is no way I will ever touch the stuff again...I miss it though...it was a fun craft, and spent a lot of money on the materials...

Also as a beginner I’m realising speedball is trash. Look for an alternative. I’ve started using permaset aqua. About to try there puff additive. But I’ve been watching heaps of videos. And keep hearing to use a base paint then do the puff on top. Heavy materials seem to be best as light seems to hold moisture and shrinks as it drys the puff on fabric.

Hey! Thanks for the video, I am currently attempting to do some resin projects and this is really informative, but I have some questions I would like to clear up: 1. Is doing this outside good? I have a raised porch and I was planning on working under there 2. During the process, what exactly is dangerous? Like when am I able to bring something inside and work on it? I’m planning on using a pressure chamber, vacuum chamber, and an air compressor. 3. If you have anymore suggestions (sense this video did come out 4 years ago) that you would like to add? Sorry if they are worded weirdly, it’s currently 12:00 am and I need sleep.
@SarahTypes3 ай бұрын
1. Yes doing it outside would be preferred. 2. Once it's cured it's safe to use (not eat on though) 3. Nothing new to add for me :)

It’s ironic that this came up on my page at this exact time. Sure hope the bots aren’t watching our videos now too lol. Anyways, I am sitting here right now testing index cards folded into 3 three sections long wise, wrapping ribbon around it, and then plan to go back and tape the remaining flap down as well. I wanted to see if it would work before I did a bunch folding and tape prep. It’s pretty cute so I’m going to bave to do a few more test ones with bigger cards to see if they are better or worse.

Okay serious question because I have tried several different types of sticker paper The mat is the only sticker paper I can get to actually work for me, I've bought holographic printable sticker paper that is through tech wrap and honestly it's the best out of all of them that I've used but it still doesn't matter how long I let that ink sit on it the ink will smudge right off the paper. Is there something I'm doing wrong I'm using a Canon pixma printer, with Canon ink to print out my stickers so I don't know what else to do like I said the only sticker paper that I have tried that does not smudge is the matte sticker paper The glossy sticker paper in the holographic both like I said I could let it sit for a day and it will still come right off of the paper and yes these are printable vinyl sticker sheets I just want to reiterate that that is definitely what I bought and that it is tech wrap brand. I just don't know what else to do even when I let it sit and I put a laminate sheet over it when I put the laminate sheet over it the ink comes off in the process 😢

the only thing i know that will help this situation for me is the printing settings on your computer (not cricut) set for 'photo paper'
@cindygarcia35593 ай бұрын
I printed same item on 2 different printers, same paper & 1 printer smudged and the other didnt 🤷🏻♀️ maybe it is your printer?
@amandahawkins873 ай бұрын
@@cindygarcia3559 Yes it definitely was my printer! The Canon pixma printer that we bought was the $39 one that Walmart has and apparently that one will not let you print on glossy photo paper any size bigger than a 5x7, if you print anything bigger than a 5x7 and you try to select photo paper or glossy paper it literally will give you an error message and say can't print change size and media type. So we went and bought an Epson workforce that Walmart had on sale for $79 and while we're still having a little bit of an issue with it smudging I have been trying to play around with settings more and it seems like I am almost there as far as finding a setting that won't cause the issue that I was having with the cannon with the ink smudging. I knew it wasn't an issue with my cricut, I knew it was definitely an issue with the printer but at that point when I wrote the comment I didn't know what kind of an issue it could be I didn't know if it was just the type of printer it was or if it was just that brand of ink, we were using genuine Canon Ink, But then after doing more research that's when I found out I wasn't going to be able to select a glossy photo paper setting with that printer unless I was doing side by seven prints which was pretty ridiculous. Thank you guys for your help I really appreciate it!
