In terms of number days we did it in 6 nights and 7 days but it was a bit rushed sometimes. If you are travelling without kids then it should be ok as you can take advantage of long daylight hours with almost 20 hours of sunlight. But I would advice may be 8 or 9 days minimum.

Hi, that is correct. You will simply get an email as soon as you have submitted the details online. That is all you will ever get. I carried a print out of that email and also my previous foreign passport and OCI when travelling to India. That is all you need, you wont get any new OCI or any other acknowledgment.

Sorry for the late reply, the parking for the Fall of Bruar which is one of the places we visited has good facilities, restaurant, cafe etc If you google House of Bruar you will find it. Apologies if this information is coming very late.

hi, your son will be able to come with you inside the airport and help you with check in and luggage, he can come with you until the security gate after that you have to go by yourself. Or if you are worried you can request for passenger assistance while collecting your boarding pass and someone from airport will take you until the boarding gate.
