Being honest i think in this rendition the "finality" theme is probably the souls not helping frisk, but helping flowey. They didnt like it they were used by him in neutral, but who would they rather help? Someone who killed countless or someone trying to stop them? I know he technically has their powers the whole time, but with their consent they can either make it stronger, or weaker. I guess. Idk im not foby tox

Wonder if any human has an hatred for monsters. In the original flowey everyone helps you,do every soul would help another human,but whose to say if they would save another monster? There is a real possibility of there being a human so messed up that they would still save frisk.

I think only KINDNESS would be even slightly inclined to try and save Frisk, but given how in a genocide run you completely forsake all kindness, I highly doubt it. It would be KINDer to simply put the demon down, at this point

I can imagine that in this fight, the souls are unwilling to fight for you, the human that killed most of the underground, or for flowey, an emotionless manipulating psychopath, so you'll have to violently rip out each of of the souls from flowey to forcefully make them join your side
