I’m doing “Veganuary” mostly for health reasons (I’m mildly lactose intolerant) but will probably reintroduce turkey/eggs/fish next month while staying dairy-free. I was fully vegan for a few years in high school/college so it’s pretty easy for me to transition back and forth according to how my body feels!

I saw the Descent when it came out and liked it…as I’ve gotten older I have become much more claustrophobic, and I can’t even watch that movie now. Horror movies have never scared me.. at all, I’ve always put up a wall in my head.. just a movie…. But claustrophobia seems so real.. I can’t do it.. see if you like the movie 20 years from now…hahaha

Hi there. I spent about 3 weeks .. watching Spooky movies! Edit: so I created a wheel of different subgenres (Woods, werewolves, best makeup effects, 80s slasher, etc) and enjoyed my time picking some horror flicks. Hopefully, I can watch the Substance/ Alien Romulus, once there are cheaper on VOD.

I do this too, but I only watch stuff I have never seen. I rent all of the streaming services for that month and then use IMDB to sort all of them based on a score of 5.5 and above. Then I take each service and make a list of every movie that fits that criteria and then randomly choose the service and then the movie off of the randomized list. You end up watching some interesting movies that way, because it's all up to chance. I throw giallo's in there as well. I think my favorite movies from this year were Talk to Me, Oddity, and Smile 2.

Have you seen the original French version of The Strangers "Ils" 2006. Some other horror " Let the Right One In" 2008, "Martyrs" 2008, "High Tension" 2003, "A Tale of Two Sisters" 2003, "Shutter" 2004, "Inside" 2007 and an underrated movie from Thailand "Slice" aka cheun 2009.

The Pumpkin Butter is amazing. Just put it on toast with a little butter. I picked up the Pumpkin Brioche and it was delicious.
