Honestly I realize that every time Joffrey talked against Tywin he was in the right "My grandfather's stupidity is why Jaime got captured" = True Worried about Dany's dragons being a threat = true Tywin waited until Robert was on the winning side of the war to pick a side = true Tywin talked shit about him when he was dead when he did nothing but antagonise him instead of tutoring him. He didn't even TRY he hated that kid from the start. Joffrey shows an unusual amount of tolerance towards him, only second to the respect he had for Robert. He didn't even press the issue of the small council meetings he just accepted it and moved on.
