I think for Diana wanting to stay in the game is her way of honoring her Mother and sorta feeling close to her by stepping in her mother's shoes. Yeah b4 it was all about school and her dreams but once a parent dies especially tragically it can change your mindset completely. School doesn't mean as much now because the person she had something to prove is gone. So I think Diana turning to the game is cathartic for her in a twisted way. She's not the old Diana this is a Diana that had to bury both her parents and that will change you forever.

I still feel that this season was rushed and there are no guarantees that many of these characters roles will be reprised. I just felt that many of the stories were left untold and whether or not they can be all brought together is not a sure thing. Big fan, but left me wondering what could have been and will these stories continue.

Look the finale to me was gas 🔥 the main problem I had with this season is Tariq’s performance. He was making dumb ass moves the whole season even after his ego death. He just lucked tf out in the end. Effie and surprisingly crackhead Brayden is the reason he on top rn

Tariq knows he needs a shooter, so Brayden tags along, while Effie and Cane still keep in touch and she goes to Chicago to get repaid.. full circle..

Honestly if they wanted to do a spin off on Cane, I’d watch it. Cane looks like the type that if you put him in with a pack of wolves, he’ll come out leading the pack.

For Tommy to ask Tariq for help, he’s gotta be facing some treacherous issues. Tariq may appear young and experienced to Tommy but he is getting experienced with the game that some don’t give him credit for. He has law enforcement on his side, an attorney that knows how to play clean and dirty, some loyal members around him and others that can be a phone call away to help further. He established a network that Tommy has not done on his own in Chicago. Tommy being Tariq’s mentor would be a great thing to watch. Tommy needs to teach bro how to fight too. It would be great to see Cane, Brayden, and Effie pull up to Chicago and they all be on one screen.

at 9:01 we can assume that phone call is sometime after he left the meeting with Brayden and Effie as he/s in the same clothes still. i really hope there's a cross over with tommy but it contradicts what Tariq says at the end which is to become a ghost and that they'll never know or hear of him, backing up a war is a quick way on the feds radar.
