The world is constantly evolving. Fiat currency has had an amazing run for humanity but things slipped in 1971 when we were pulled off the gold standard. Now it's just paper. Currency is measured by your time/energy. And they keep debasing it with injecting new paper money and now your time/energy means less and will continue to mean less.
