After several frustrating YEARS, I finally learned how to open a stitched rice bag! This is how. As advised in Dirt Farmer Jay's video, put the side with one (or 2 in the case of Thai Jasmin Rice) SINGLE STITCH line(s) in front of you, then open from the RIGHT side. From this step onward, open the loops as suggested in THIS video by Kamagong Dalisay. You will see 2 loops being intertwined. Just separate them first. Once the thread inside each loop is removed, pull apart 2 "legs" of the loop and voila! The bag is fully open for you!

The video doesn't show what you're doing on top of the bottle and no audio description of it either. It is left to the imagination and presumably you only screwed in a corkscrew opener so no need for the video.

Per the video counter it took him 1:36 seconds to remove everything from the box at fast speed. In actuality if done at normal speed we’re looking at forty five minutes to empty the box. Oh it’s going to be a looooong day for me to put this contraption together. 🙄
