I’ve been following this recipe for well over 5 years now, and every time I make it it’s gone within minutes. I just add some mint and use sparkling water, and OMG! It’s absolutely amazing! I love how simple the recipe is, it also makes calculating ingredients for larger batches easier.

It seems too thick for a soup, more like a stew. I would've added more water, or added the liquid from the cucumber and spinach, but it would probably still need more water. Still, garlic, toasted cumin, and mint sounds like a party to me! 🎉😊

I made this for my Vegetarian friends. I added some Hungarian paprika to give it a healthy kick. Went over fabulously and didn’t have any leftover.

I always soak them, it's better for digestion and then you don't have to cook them so long. This is a good tip when you forget to soak them. Instructions in this video lousy needed a lot of comments.

I’ve never eaten lentils so I’m curious as to what they taste like.

If you just found this video like l did, just a couple of tips l recommend after l made this: 1. Make ahead of time to let the spices incorporate 2. I used nonfat yogurt and it was just fine 3. Add some liquid of your choice as it was too thick for me. I’m a dairy gal so l used organic milk to my desired consistency It’s not exactly like ranch to my taste buds but it’s close enough and it really is delicious!

I don’t understand why you bother to blot out the brand name of a product. If all goes well, people from all over the world will be watching this and most of them dont’ care about what brand you use or they just can’t get the brand you use. So I don’t see the point... I live in Flanders, not too far off, but I have my own favourite brands, so... 🤷♀️

Doesn't cooking destroy the vitamins in vegetables?
@chantzsykora58549 ай бұрын
You do know that putting your lemon into hot water is pretty much pointless do to the hot water killing the vitamin C. That’s why the best way to make honey and lemon tea is to put your honey in first then let your tea to cool down to warm then put your lemon in.

I thought basic lentils? The petite or French lentils 4-5 times more money than basic lentils🦧, just found out have multiple organ failure and need more protein, idk how to cook the lentils lol. So many different lentils I'm confused🥺, Tyvm

I cook this quite often and vary the spices according how I feel at the time, but it usually includes turmeric and paprika. I cook mine in an air fryer and it only takes 10 minutes. Delicious.
