How can a US citizen find a job over there? My husband and my parents are from El Salvador. With Trump coming into office with tough immigration laws, we have to find a way to make things work if things go a different path (aka, having to move over there 🇸🇻) . Is it difficult to get a Job? What kind of Jobs would you recommend ?

I am looking to move next month. I was in Sansolvador in 2022. Loved the culture in the city.

Thanks for sharing! Just a quick off-topic question: I have USDT in my OKX wallet and I have the recovery phrase. <pride>-<pole>-<obtain>-<together>-<second>-<when>-<future>-<mask>-<review>-<nature>-<potato>-<bulb>. What is the best way to transfer them to Binance?

Can someone help me and provide me an answer ASAP before tomorrow morning-I have two more nights before I leave. I am very uber un savvy and I hardly use Uber… I’ve only used it a couple times in my home country to get to the airport and in El Salvador due to the logistics of things taking the bus twice took me seven hours last night from Suchitoto back to Santana with the horrendous traffic and bus transfers and Friday commute. Few days ago the beach to suchi took 5.5 hours (left 7am which sadly meant horrendous traffic which I had no idea)… anyway after doing the buses three times I’ve just had it-so this last time I decided to see how much it would cost on Uber. I booked a trip from Santana to a hotel near the volcano. I was being very very generous and offered a lot of help to someone who was staying at the hostal too and told him I’m Uber to the volcano location and offered him a ride. He was happy to do so as a taxi would cost a lot more and on a diff day when he won’t be able to split the expense. The price was $17 when I booked it. The guy kept talking to the cab driver and he changed the items in Uber as I saw him punch something on the app. When we got to the destination he showed me the phone and it registered as $38 more than double!! So of course I was very shocked and surprised and unhappy since I got duped and I don’t speak Spanish. Since the Uber is in my account I’m very upset because I’m stuck with the bill. The guy from hotel for shared the ride with me said we shouldn’t be paying more than what it said and I couldn’t prove it since I didn’t take a picture when I was leaving of how much it would cause and I don’t have Wi-Fi. It didn’t matter because he put something on his App to change the price. My question is what can I do. We paid the 20 and I thought we were done and the guy who rode with me it’s not app savvy and I’m not that much better either. When I went back on my phone after checking in at the new hotel I saw that there was a note from Hoover that I owe money and they will be charging me on the next ride!!!! So now I’m pretty upset that I’m trying to help just perfect stranger out and I’m getting stuck with the bill that’s not even my fault. I just have a purse bag and the stranger has a trekking bag since he plans to go back to his home country in South America afterwards. my question is if there’s a little bit congestion does that change the price at the end? What is shouldn’t more than double? Also could he have done some thing like put in the app that there are several luggages? When the guy was putting his truck bag in the trunk the driver was speaking to me in Spanish and asking if there’s luggage and I said no just a bag. Could there be a possibility that he checked multiple luggages can more than double the rate. How can a $17 ride become $38???! I contacted the hotel before I was about to come and before I checked Uber and asked how much a taxi ride was and they said 30 so how can an Uber ride be more than a taxi? Also when I got to the new hotel and looked at my phone it was reduced from 38 to 28-so I think he was definitely playing games. Maybe some Uber drivers can help me understand what to do. If it is a luggage surcharge why didn’t he say so and how much would a trekking bags to charge Be

I just got here a couple hours ago from the Playas el zonte..,, laugh at 7 AM from the players and got your 5 1/2 hours later…. Took the 201a micro…. I was going to go all the way to the end and take an Uber to the terminal as I read about online but the driver told me to get off @ceiba de Guadalupe to get off and to catch another microb and that bus driver told me to catch another bus (29#) after 20m. All thru traffic 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😱😭

I have a family of 6 - which consists of me and my husband and our kids, ages: 6, 11, 3, & 1. I am interested in slow traveling with them for a year and I'd love to make El Salvador one of our stops where we'd stay for around a month. I'm wondering if you can make a video with your suggestions for my scenario on what areas are good to stay in that have western type amenities and things to do in the area, that is walkable or close by in an uber, and how to plan a further trip to do something fun etc. I haven't traveled much in my life and it'd be a first for my big family together. I'd really love it if you can give me some personalized tips or like a video where you address my type of scenario. What do you think? P.S. We're not into hiking and nature things like that, a visit to the beach is the closest we like being to nature if you can catch my drift. One of the things I'm most nervous about is transportation because of how big my family is and also because I have a toddler which goes in a car seat.

AS A VATO THAT WAS BORN IN SAN SALVADOR 🇸🇻 IN 1981, I'VE LIVED IN CANADA EVER SINCE GRADE 6 (1992). MY PARENTS USED TO TELL ME THAT I LEARNED INGLÉS THE FASTEST OUT OF ALL 3 SIBLINGS; AS A CHILD I USED TO LIKE CARTOONS, VIDEO GAMES & MOVIES A LOT. I LEARNED ENGLISH THE FASTEST THROUGH THOSE 3 MEANS; BOOKS FOR ME CAME IN 2ND PLACE DUE TO MY SHORT ATTENTION SPAN BACK THEN 😅 BUT, I GRADUATED HIGH-SCHOOL HERE IN THE YEAR 2O0O, & THE REST IS HISTORY I SUPPOSE. 😬

How do we find out if our airline will stop our travel without return ticket .
@ThatExpatMom
@ThatExpatMom Ай бұрын
I would reach out to your airline and give them a call. Ask them about their policy regarding flights to El Salvador and if they require a return flight home in order to board you. This is not an El Salvador policy and not all airlines require this but many do so it's best to check with your airline before your trip. 💙 I hope you have an amazing trip to El Salvador 😊
