The black products come from the wives of American soldiers during the Korean War. My mom said the best silk press she ever had in her life to this day has been in South Korea 😂

This video is so helpful! I am African American and have been given the opportunity to study abroad right after highschool. Knowing that some countries aren’t the most open to foreigners, especially those of darker skin tones, has made me start seriously learning about other black people’s experiences abroad. I’m glad I came across this video!!!

I'm going for a month in December!(Bf is also black and in airforce) And I'm soooo nervous. I'm planning to wear braids...i was told to straighten my hair instead cuz it'll be "easier on the eyes" there. Is it really that serious? Any help I'll appreciate! Thank you❤❤❤❤

Do you like to twerk? Hahaha! I'm in Korea now. I believe it is normal to stare at Black people here because we are the Unicorn here. Some people seem nice but I don't speak Korean so it is difficult to have conversations. Also, Seoul is super beautiful. The size of NYC but it is super clean. They see the twerking thing on TV and music videos of popular groups or rappers in America etc. Twerking is very popular.
