Thank you for posting a proper full length account, grateful for these gents serving our country. As a kid living next to an RAF base (Leeming) I remember the massive amount of Tornado activity around this time. We were near Lossiemouth on holiday in Inverness and we followed the Buccaneer coverage.
Thank you for this upload it has been great watch 😊 regards 😊😊😊

Great video!!! I'm so glad the story of the Bucc and the crews in the gulf has been told. The Tornados made the news but the buccs wrote the headlines. I was never happier than as a kid seeing buccs flying low level through the valleys. It. Was a sad day when the Bucc was retired😢

Misogyny? How about the MORE prevelant phenomemen: MISANDRY? That misandry is not even in the lexicon shows 'misogyny' to be an OVERUSED term?

This needs to go big. There needs to be RESPECT for BOYS in schools. Girls need to follow a DRESS CODE in the schools out of respect for BOYS!

@@petewright-gardner6548 Hello Pete, I'm still alive and well and haven't moved very far away from Lossie. Watching the video brought home to me how our (aircrew/groundcrew) experience of the event differed, but we all came together to get the job done. From a personal perspective, the mission on the 14th February was something I really wasn't looking forward to and skipped breakfast in "Billy Smarts" to sit in the cockpit and double...triple...check everything because I had a bad feeling about the whole plan. Your gesture - noticing me in the darkness and looking after me - was a huge morale lift, even if the Breakfast Banjo you brought me was impossible to eat. My mouth was so dry I couldn't swallow it. I truly thought that the sunrise was the last one I'd see... I hope that you're well - you certainly look it - and maybe we'll meet for a beer sometime. Regards, MW

In 1992 I was refused a job at the Womens and Childrens hospital as a research assistant and I was told, point-blank, to stop applying for these jobs because they didn't hire males. I went to our Equal Opportunities Commission to make a formal complaint. I was told that the hospital was NOT discriminating against men (because that was illegal). They were only "discriminating IN FAVOUR OF women". And that was perfectly fine. I am currently in dispute with the same commission because all the boys in my sons year were pulled out of class and made to sit through a DV seminar that told them that all violence in a relationship was their sexes fault. Apparently it doesn't qualify as sexual discrimination because it "wasn't done because of their sex" and "wasn't unfavorable" towards the boys.

I said it in the link that brought me here "take a bow son, take a bow". You've done more for men then you'll ever know, especially setting a very unnecessary but necessary precedent

An inspiring film, what seems like a no brainier gets hijacked by the feminist lobby. I had a similar awakening 20 years ago as a young father. Thats when you will see another level of lack of empathy, especially after separation and divorce. I hope others take up your success in other universities, but somehow I doubt it. We are browbeaten into feeling ashamed of our sex and to protect women without question. Gynocentric culture.

Well done indeed. The question that occurs to me is that almost all the "groups" that are assumed to need special provisions actually include men, black, Asian, Muslim, hindu, sexual orientation and so on. So in fact men by the definition of the student union are actually included in their interpretation of the Equality Act! So either thse men are excluded even from the equality act and human rights. Or it's a very specific sort of man that is unworthy of equality.

Excellent work! If you were asking for an officer for any other immutable characteristic/religion/persuasion you wouldn't have had these problems. Therein lies the need for this role.
