In the first few episodes ,they were like arguing like childrens ,trying to outsmart and undo each other .Maybe the doctor didnt like humans bossing around an experienced timelord ,who travelled the universe regularly.

He certainly did give the best performance with the trite he was given. Very professional. I respect him for that. Love Capaldi for his sheer nerd credentials.😊 Really wish we had a better writing team at the helm during his tenure as the Doctor.

I have also wondered if Peter ever got an early role in a different episode to his previous role doctor who from years before, say back in the 80s or possibly late 70s as his first acting job? I imagine he has been a fan like forever, but considering his role as the doctor and previous role, he has done odd acting roles before he became famous a lot that he probably forgot about. As an exstra in TV series, he could appear on his number one show and has kept this a secret? So maybe there's an old footage with him in?

I thought at the beginning of Mr. Capaldi's playing The Doctor that I would never like him in that role. Now this is based on watching him play the horrible spin doctor who traded Earth children to aliens for drugs and then took out his whole family instead of letting his own children be traded, in Torchwood. That soon changed though as I watched him truly become The Doctor. It's the same way I felt about Jodie Whittaker when she took over the roll. It wasn't that The Doctor was female, it was that I had watched the Black Mirror episode where she cheated on her husband. Funny how an actor or actress is so good at playing a villain that when you see them, its all you can see them as for a while.
