I'm planning a trip to Montana 9/2024. This remote has been in my gear bag for 3 years, unused. I knew I would have a need for it one day. I never took the time to learn how to use it. Thanks for making a video explaining the multiple shots and intervals. I plan on shooting the stars when I'm in dark skies country. I still have a few weeks to practice. Thanks!

Really excellent run-through of this device. I am very happy with this (just arrived) and can't wait to get out in the next day or so to do some M42 testing.

Oct 2022; My repeat mystery. I setup for one single run as: delay 5", long 1', delay 1", N=10. I did not need repeat and it was set to default 0 0' 01" with N2 at --. Using this setup the timer ran my sequence completed and then started again; I only wanted one single run. I finally solved as leaving repeat to default 0 0' 01" but put N2 to 1. This causes one single run of my sequence.

Thanks for the video! I just purchased the same and am trying to do the long exposure with multiple shots, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work. My settings - bulb mode, 5 second delay, 4 second long, 1 second interval, and N1 = 3 and N2 = 1. I get 3 shots, with the first and third shot having 4 second exposures, but the second one having a 1/1.3 second exposure. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks again!

*SETTING DEMO FOR TIMELAPSE* ----------------- ***PIXEL TW-283 SEQUENCE*** ----------------- DELAY - 10” (before firing) LONG - 6” (exposure time) INTERVAL - 12” (between each shot) N1 - 3 (3 total 6” shots will be taken) REPEAT - 10” (if N2 set more than 1) N2 - 2 (2 rounds of above settings) ---------------- ***MEANINGS FOR MODES*** ---------------- DELAY - Time before first shot will be taken. This only happens for shot #1. LONG - Exposure time for each shot. INTERVAL - Time between each shot. N1 - Total shots you want taken. REPEAT - Time before the next exact sequence of settings repeats itself. If only 1 sequence is desired it does not matter what REPEAT is set to as long as N2 is only set to 1 then you will only get 1 sequence. N2 - Number of times your set sequence will take place.

What is the 4th screen after bulb for? There’s a timer icon and it’s supposedly used for timed shooting? I have the Pixel TW-283TX Canon. Still trying to understand adding 3 seconds for things. I just simply want to use it for time lapse to fire a shot every 3-5 seconds using whatever I have my camera settings at on my 5DSR.

Even though you are a disgusting deviant sub human canon user *, many thanks for the instructions on how to use this shutter remote. I never would have worked it out from the instructions. It is appreciated ( NOTE* I bought my first NIKON in 1972 and I'm still using them, I have shot professionally with Nikon gear for 35mm and digital since 1975. I may just be a tiny bit of a NIKON bigot)

How is your back doing...? I've seen a few comments on that, and I am a little concerned about this. I'm now (July 2021) looking to buy this 190 USD (B&H) system "FLYCAM Comfort Arm Vest Support for Camera Stabilizers" for use with my "Neewer 24" Camera Stabilizer" ...which arrived yesterday :-) My arm got tired very quickly, even with only a 1 kg/2 lbs Sony HDR-AX700 on it.
