Yeah, it's a cue to warn you of the abyss. They wanted to warn the player about it should he somehow managed to blaze through the stage on the first try without dying before reaching that point. 😁

It is, but the game mechanics are much richer. It mostly lacks in the animation department, but the dev team initially had less than 10 ppl.

@@jomama-c It wasn't spawned by command. Once you hatch the eggs in the endgame, they appear as grown ups at predetermined spots in the game world after a while: Grand Reef, Crag Field, Mountains/Bulb Zone, Dunes and Northern Blood Kelp zones.

Great looking base! I found a couple systems with planets with floating islands. When I build any kind of structure and go inside the camera starts bouncing in out. It's nauseating. Any idea what this is about? I put down flooring and built on that but it doesn't help, camera keeps bouncing as soon as I go in.

@@Zcitron Sounds funny 😂 It's hard to believe that the impact alone did enough damage. Have you maybe chipped of it's HPs in some previous encounters?

@@Zcitron Cyclops is resistant to impact damage. Leviathans need to actually bite the Cyclops to cause hull damage. So if the impact event happens before the actual bite, that can explain it.
