I proposed to a young lady while this song was playing. She said yes.....33 years ago and we are still together. This song still moves my heart. Samuel Barber Adagio for Strings is another soul sturing composition that reflects the greatness of love. To me Barber's song reflects what is in a man's heart after growing old together and he loses his wife. His soul is lost.

What is it about freedom that pisses off so many 'leaders'?

@@RideAcrossTheRiver Because they are still mean little boys with the emotional development of a 5 year old. All dictators are the same, emotionally insecure and never thinking about the harm they cause. If the democratic world had true grit we would give Mr P 24 hours to stop his war and if he did not stop the UN, EU, NATO and USA and others would find him and either kill or imprison him. Why is what is happening in Ukraine any different to what the world watched Hitler do in 1939. How many millions of lives and cities could have been saved if Hitler had been eliminated in 1935.

@@RideAcrossTheRiver The western nations should have taken him out the first day of his Ukrainian war. His generals and oligarchs would have not permitted nuclear weapons to launch. In my opinion. OK, back to enjoying Suzanne.

You know what true beauty really is? It's something that can't be described in words, something that our intellect cannot grasp, but can be felt in our souls.

I was 11 and had been studying classical piano for 4 years. Sensing my heart wasn't into any of the pieces she chose, my instructor gave me liberty to play anything I wanted for my recital. I chose this song.
