Love the idea! Some thoughts (unsolicited feedback): - most people that use this will also want to keep score on Udisc, so whatever you can do to make this simpler (even if it's just match their UI for inputting scores) will probably help - feels like it could be frustrating if you have a great round but due to randomness the AI does amazing and you lose when normally you would have won. Is that intended? - would be fun to have a social element to this, where multiple people can join a tournament or league with leaderboards, etc - will you have round ratings? Something similar to that to show people how good they're playing, regardless of what the AI scores, could help with tracking progress

Thanks for the thoughts! 1. There's only so many ways to quickly input a score on a disc golf hole, so although the UI is not made to look like UDisc, it won't be far from it. Inputting scores is very easy though and can be done with as many gestures as it takes in UDisc. 2. Kinda sorta. There is some randomness in the app just like there is in an actual tournament, but you'll never have an MA2 AI come out and shoot a 1030-rated round. When you set up a tournament you select your tier (A-Tier, e.g.) and division (MA2, e.g.). Randomness exists within a range, so you may have an MA2 player come out and shoot 950 (just like a normal tournament), but they typically will average closer to 920-930. 3. Agreed! This won't be included in the app at launch but I'm considering implementing a social feature in the future. 4. Yes! Every round in the app will receive a rating, and users will have a rating based on the average of their last x number of rounds. This is already built into the app. Let me know if there's anything else I can answer, and I'm always thankful for feedback!

I lived in Salt Lake City for about 2 years , it was literally amazing out there , one day I climbed to the shorter peak of Mount Olympus and climbed back down all in one day , I lived near Cottonwood , Murray SLC Utah , there’s a course pretty close with a river I used to play at !!!! I’ll never forget getting a Mellow Yellow Challenge Gator from some guy for $20 I had it for awhile too

Any chance in the future of this connecting with Udisc so I can after setting up an AI tournament round keep score with Udisc and have it pull my scores instead of entering hole scores on both apps? Edit.. Your mention of AI scores being based on course makes me think you are getting the data from somewhere and Udisc seems like the best and most up to date answer.

Very low probability of having any information sync between Throw with the Pros and UDisc. There is the potential to pull course info from UDisc in the future if they release a public API, but for right now the course information AI performance is based off of will either come from user input (takes very little time, likely a minute or two) or from a global list in the app which I'll be generating and adding to with every update. UDisc likely wants to keep their scoring in their own app; I doubt they will ever allow other apps to pull live scoring information from a user's account as they enter it in UDisc. I've reached out to UDisc to inquire about accessing course information to make this process easier, but entering scores would have to be done twice if you want it to be saved in both apps. I have been a longtime user of UDisc myself, but out of curiosity what are the main draws for wanting to enter all of your rounds in UDisc?

@@mndiscgolfer I can't give too many hints! What I will say is that I wasn't trying to make these difficult, generally no obscure or uncommon molds. I intended to have people only guess once, but given that it's already Friday and the competition ends in the morning I'll allow a second guess on this one. To help out, I would say that this disc has slightly more stability than a Corvette, but the Corvette might actually be more overstable for most just given that it's a 14 speed.

Good afternoon, because there are infinite ways to throw a disc, I'd recommend comparing your form to 1 pro that you really like, and just copy everything they do. It is more efficient this way because you have a better idea what your errors are when you compare it to 1 person's style. Best wishes!

It depends on the person though, lots of pros do things in their throws that aren’t technically “correct” but it works for them. So if ur trying to model ur form after someone stay open to not copying them 100%. You still gotta do what works for you personally.
