I was 10 years old I remember that day. I miss the queen bless her. I can't believe how much pride park the area has transformed I remember when it was the old gas works and pride park stadium alone. Pride park stadium can't hold a candle to the legendary Baseball Ground but she's my religion my church. Through thick and thin I'm DERBY COUNTY TIL I DIE! I've watched this many times it's gone so quickly since '97 if I could I'd go back to the 90s in a heartbeat. Great upload my friend 🐏🇬🇧

The outside hasn't aged well, but inside is A1. I only rate Bolton and Cardiff new build as better.

"I can't really remember what was said either, it's all a bit of a blur" Yeh, that'll be the 2 glasses of, I mean, cups of 'tea...' ;)

YES. Where my Auntie lived, on/near Northumberland Terrace was demolished year ago. AWFUL new GROUND, not stadium, & awful modern game. AGAINST MODERN FOOTBALL ⚽ 110 %

@@redwingrob1036 BBG didn't have numbers due to the football seating, but it was the best ground in the country.

SCREW the numbers Moggy Man, better to have renovated & enlarged the old BBG, than some awful Americanised 'Sky' corporate style edifice. AND keeping the BASEBALL ground in the centre of Derby, kept the heart of Derby English...not so now I've heard. I remember Derby well: from going to games in the late 70s to very early 80s with my Dad, & visiting an Aunt who lived in a demolished & destroyed part of Derby. YES great atmosphere! 110% AGAINST MODERN 'FOOTBALL' ⚽

Football is becoming more and more generic as all the old stadiums disappear and everything is slowly being Americanised. I miss the 90s at the baseball ground 😥😥

Football invented by the working class stolen by the rich and the Baseball Ground was the best pride park can't hold a candle to bbg.

This was the only musical I saw Phil perform in; I wish I’d see others. He was a nice guy to work with and will be missed very much.
