That is a great pair of eyes and I am with you on the preference for smaller irises, I think it makes the little ones look more human and as you are working on a darker theme for your characters less of a doe eye is a must I reckon. Thanks for another great video, I love that you don't hide the strife that can go with creating.

I actually ended up using the ones larger iris mold, and I think they look natural. There's an even smaller one! This was one of those ones where it looked pretty bad until the end...HAHAHA. I feel like that last drop of resin really hid a lot of mistakes🤣😂

Oh my god you did a great job making these little eyes I mean this is the first time you make one the result is amazing I loved the color you chose it suits your doll perfectly I have wanted to try it for a long time and make eyes for my dolls but I was hesitant and afraid of failing but after this great video it gave me the courage to try 💪🏻😆

this looks so good! I did a distressed thing once, where I dragged the skirt through the pastels, and splashed it bottom down the fabric was firmer) into a gouache but it was a messy freaking process. Also it's been a while since I read Anne Rice! but she's a great writer!

Oh my goodness! These little dolls are amazing! I love the brown haired boy too! These little blind boxes have been on my radar. I may have to take a deep dive into them. And yes, I have also struggled with dressing my BJDs too! 😅

Speaking as someone who has had problems with depression, over thinking can be a heck of a rabbit hole and you seem to be wandering that path with your dolly guilt, it's your dolly life and your money to do with as you will. That said though, I think many in the doll community feel it every so often. My wife and I nearly applauded when you brought up the bizarre negativity that sometimes accompanies doll nudity, we have never understood the fear some people have of doll wobbly bits or firm ones for that matter. Is your fur baby feeling better now?

@@MrGandallo oh I know. I have so many little issue like feeling guilty for things I shouldn’t. I’ve spent the last year on a bit of a healing journey, and def have much more insight, and that is very helpful to me! Doll nudity has always been confusing. I supposed I just don’t understand. I think I would need someone of the other side to explain it to me so I could understand their pov better. It may also have to do with the censor, but the rules for KZbin at least (which I did read) are specific to humans and the behavior that goes along with it. My dog did great! No issues at all! She was just a little whiny! Other than that no side effects!

After watching your tour I looked up Cameron who I had not heard of before and then watched The Wormwood Star, a very interesting person and a really good choice for the High Priestess of the coven, doll choice is perfect too. Also I love Ella and hope that she finds some measure of peace as her story evolves though not to say a trip down an ever darkening tunnel wouldn't be cool too.

Ella will always find peace because she has no insight. But she is a horrible person, and my fantasy world will never see her as anything but because the real world loves people like her. She's a doll that will have a nice time for herself out in the world and then end up going to jail or back to the psych ward. HA! I need to do a video on that character, but I'll need notes, so It'll take me some time to get it together!

My latest doll has come with these silicone rings in the joints that i have never seen before and altho thy are great in theory, they are also really annoying when they fold over inside the joints 😫😬 I have only ever used hot glue but might try using actual suede fabric next maybe 🧡

@@MrGandallo I would wait even longer than I did to string it together. Today the silicone is much more set in place. I also wish I had scored the joints a little to give it a rougher surface to stick to! The doll is sooooo much better! Would recommend!

I did contact the seller, unfortunately the advice was go to the post office, which isn’t particularly helpful. I checked the building that they sometimes confuse with our building. If it was ever there, it’s long gone. They don’t have an apartment number that matches mine 🙄🙄. I guess I just wait 15 days then try filing a claim…

The “foodie” are all fast food, but they have lots of other styles. You can get common grocery items in regular “mini brands.” They also have mini brands “create” that are like the miniverse and it’s like a little resin craft kit, which is very cute!
