I COME FROM VIOLENCE AND WHEN I MARRIED AND THOUGHT I WAS PREGNANT HUSBAND HAD A FIT. BECAME VIOLENT . ELDER WOMEN SAID STAY. I DID. MY RELIGION FORBID DIVORCE. 2ND TIME YEARS LATER I THOUGHT I WAS PREGNANT AGAIN HE DID AGAIN . PRIEST SAID I WOULD GO TO HELL IF I DIVORCED HIM. I SAID 'I AM ALREADY IN HELL" AND LEFT. So good of a legacy but if we appreciate their sacrifices and the country that has given them and us the opportunities that we now have. Now our generations of ours and our children, needs to do the same or better but not into the life of crime that we see some chooses

Great man with a great story for everyone from the Pacific Islands to emulate. I have great admirations for all the pioneers of the Pacific islands that left the comfort of the yearly warm weather and work in cold extreme places for the future of their families. I can relate to his story and I thank the Lord our heavenly father for his blessings upon his pacific island people. I am a proud Samoan that left the island of Savaii living in Philadelphia PA after retiring from the US Army serving 21 years.

This situation in Samoa is prolly a hair truth from the real truth... Samoan marriage is base on a very solid platform. Where the man loves and nourish he's wife unconditional as well as the woman.. ... anything out of the ordinary are the ways of the outsiders....
