Geophones too close to concrete canal induces errors, because stiffness contrast between the ground and the canal. Seismograph too close to ruber plate. Vibration at shotpoint affect the seismograph. Put the equipment far of shotpoints is a good practice. Juan from Colombia

@@haririarifin3346 well our collegue, who is now retired is not very fond of sharing his information, as we could figure out he could tranfer data more quickly than using diskets, what you need: old laptop or pc with windows xp, parallel to parallel cable, and link maven software…we have it all but we cant figure it out…this is what we know, you turn on mk6, go into dos shell, type “dremote”, then open link maven on laptop and press connect, connection should appear and transfer should be easy but we have problem here and nothing shows up no matter what we do, abbem support told us we could use old scsi drive but we dont know how to set it up, maybe you will have more luck than we do :) pls share your progress
