Absolutely appreciate the video. I was looking into getting a controller for the heating unit in my turtle tank. I didn’t really understand how they worked nor did. I understand how I would set one up, but your video greatly explained both of those. I’m going to be ordering one off of Amazon now myself and look forward to having it in my set up. Will definitely help with the peace of mind that I don’t have to worry about my heater malfunctioning and cooking my turtle. I’m getting a pretty decent submersible heater that has a unit built into it to watch the heat, but it’s going to be nice having a secondary unit that can also control that. Now correct me if I’m wrong. Set my aqueon pro 300w heater to 85 degrees as turtle water should be anywhere from 74-78. Set the inkbird power high to 77 and power low to 74. This means the inkbird will turn on the heater if the temperature drops below 74 and will turn the heater off if it goes above 77? I set the heater to 79 so it will heat the tank pay the maximum so it will turn on and off? Or do I set it for 77 so water just stays that warm?

You need to have at least a thousand comments on this video. I want you to know that you are the only person that has been able to explain this product correctly. I have watched probably at least 20 videos and have walked away confused and bewildered not to mention after reading the manual. It is absolutely ridiculous that a manufacturer produces a product and expects the public to explain their product. But you, my friend have done an excellent job. And I would like to underline the word excellent. I was getting nothing but frustrated and mad, left looking for the 800 number to call customer service. When I found your video, suddenly everything made sense. I watched 1 video where the individual indicated that T1. And T2 on the Phone app. Represented probe one and probe two, ridiculous. I don't even want to get started with continuous heating time feature. Once I watched your video I finally understood that I had everything backwards. So kudos to you!! Excellent work and keep on making great videos.

Hey bro! I’m from Brazil and i have two of these tidal 110, the newest one make some noise when connected the motor to the body, and no noise when i turn it on without being conected to the body. I’ve disassembled completely and it still doing the loud noisy, but just when connected to the body.

Hello my Brazilian friend! This sounds like the impeller shaft might be loose or dirty. When you had it completely disassemble, did you see any signs of wear on the impeller or the guide plate?
@pedrohrqfranco

Well, the impeller looks great, and te pump works good when out of the filter body. The noise is just when connected to the filter.@@BenAfricanCichlids

I see you are using sink water to clean the components while others use water from the tank or at least water without chlorine. I am a newbie and a bit unsure as I have not been taking care of my Fluval as often as I should.

These types of led fixtures are shocking good, particularly for their price point. I just leave mine on full spectrum and utilize a smart plug with my automation system. Having a brightness setting is great for more specific algae control not simply just by duration.

In a separate tote add ammonia to the water (or fish water) and keep steady light on. Use airstones for oxygenation/movement. Some leaves will die but more will grow underwater. Submerged leaves will grow smaller but roots will take off along with the vines. It can be done! Pothos has to be conditioned this way first for full immersion. I've grown pothos underwater in fish tanks. There is always some dieback when adjusting but then it will grow. Just clip bad parts and leave submerged.

wondering if this is whats causing my powersteering to fail on my 2016… The shaft looks in tact but very rusted. Powersteering light is on and it can still drive but obv without powersteering its bad… Dealers quoting me at 3500$ to replace the whole rack.. Might be worth to change this myself and hope thats the issue?

Very informative. I have a well established pothos, and a couple of monsteras that I want to do this with. They're over a few years old and very large. I would love to combine them in a new aquarium. My question is, will it be a big shock to the plants to the point that they won't recover?
