I'm liking this video 5 year later because you actually give a visual demonstration using the card reader you purchased. I've noticed something across the board when it comes to both descriptions of card readers on various marketplaces and the people who shill and/or review said products. While this is typically a product where you'd wanna showcase read/write speeds, that doesn't mean anything if you can't reliably insert the SD card into the device. Yes, part of that is common sense determining which way the connectors face, but it goes deeper than that. Most of these readers don't disclose ease of insertion/removal of the cards on their product page or in the review itself. A lot of reader are designed so a good amount of the card is still exposed for "easy" removal, which is a completely different source of grief. But readers like this take in the whole micro SD card leaving only that small edge visible. That small edge is what you have to pull it out by. Gently. Why? Because these readers don't have ports with a spring loaded ejection feature. You know, the kind you see on the back of the Nintendo Switch. And the Wii U. And the Wii... Again, I know these readers are mostly cheap, but there's still that expectation that your SD card will survive being inserted, read and/or written to, and removed. And that expectation should persist more than once or twice.

I recently bought 2 of these card readers and it was very hard to get the SD card into its slot like it does in other card readers. It "insisted" on being on a noticeable angle when fully inserted and was very hard to remove as well. We had to really pull hard to get it out. Other members of the family tried and had a tough time just as I did. I did not have a problem with the Micro SD card at all, worked like it should. I consider these card readers to be a waste of money and would not ever recommend them to anyone. These will get tossed in the electronics junk drawer and I'll find a better alternative. Take heed and learn from our mistakes!

Any advice on how to reassemble the bracket? I can’t figure out what part gives it tension adjacent to the vesa plate.

I appreciate you showing the struggle getting it to slide at first and not just editing that out. It's good for people who may run into that issue to show not to just jam it and that taking it out and retrying could fix it. God job

2:42 this part here keeps sliding down for me even though the bolt that I tightened is on. is it a faulty part or am I doing something wrong? No matter what i do it keeps sliding with any simple adjustment

Don't ever put your trust into a Seagate hard drive! Always fail after a few years! You should only buy Western Digital hard drives as they are the most reliable in my experience!

A few tips to help with the mistakes that you made 1.) You have to put it in USB mode to use it wired 2.)To turn it on press the home button 3.)To put it into Bluetooth Paring mode Switch it to bt1 and hold Home and Start for 3 seconds
