I just saw this video. I hope after all this time you figured it out. You should instal the motor first when you rebuild the bike. You lay the motor on the floor on it's side on a blanket and you lower the frame down onto the motor. the frame is much lighter than the motor and you don't need a contraption. I do it all the time by my self and I'm 70 years old.

Heritage softail I get a lot of wind gushing up from under the bike. Windshield keeps wind pressure off my chest but the air up underneath at highway speed is trying to blow my glasses off my face. So these work to stop the wind from under the bike?? And cheers from Kentucky USA 🇺🇸

Hi buddy you wouldn't happen to know where i can get the screws and rubber mounting bushes that replace the existing OEM ones? I have the screen but need to find the part number for the fixing or mounting kit. Thanks in advance for any help. G

It has a harley sticker on it so that means it's going to cost triple what any other wheel chock of the exact same quality will cost.

Could it be that the frame of your backrest is slightly bent? I would try pushing back on the top of the backrest while it’s locked in the slot to maybe slightly bend the frame towards the rear. That’s the only thing I can think of. Ride Safely!
@grider20104 ай бұрын
I have a 2010 Gold Wing with the same backrest, but mine is quite comfortable in the middle slot. When riding solo with additional luggage, I’ll place it in the first slot to accommodate the luggage and I do feel pushed forward in that position. I’ve ridden Florida to New York and back solo and mine is extremely comfortable. Makes me wonder why your backrest is pushing you forward. Hope you find an acceptable solution. Ride Safely!

Great job, mate! I kept waiting for the milk crates to tumble over or something but you did it! I need to do the same thing later this month on a restoration project I plan to take on. Thank you for this video and condolences for the loss of your dad. All the best to you and your family.

Very nice tips ! Interesting as playing with the solar power fridge . Just ordered a 12vdc to 12 vdc 9 amp charger to try using alternator power while riding and then switch to solar. The solar seems to be not worth the headaches . Maybe keep it installed as emergency backup system for hurricane season not sure. Have a Tupui RTT mounted on a USA trailer XL trailer unfortunately found after fact trailer is MIC . Any experience with using alternator to power LIPO4 batteries with 12-12/9amp charger . So from reading the 9 amp victron main purpose is to not allow the Lithium batteries to take an overloading draw on the alternator and smoke it.

LOL why change the entire light housing? figure out what halogen bulb is needed and simply order that bulb but in LED. Example my 08 low rider takes a 9003 halogen bulb high and low beam. I ordered two 9003 LED bulbs and replaced the halogen, that's it...that easy. it costed me 22 bucks for two new LED 9003 bulbs and I now see clearly at night .High beam LED 9003 is = to 6k lumens which is brighter than a cops spot light

For the difference in price, the Harley lights do not even compare!! I mean over 700 bucks for the Harley's vs. 120 bucks for the Truckmall's is a complete no brainer! Unless you have money to burn for heat, the Truckmalls are the clear winner. Thanks for the vid!!

Good to see you back. 👍 Those weird arse, multi coloured 'sculptures' on the South Rd part of the expressway always crack me up. No-ones ever been able to explain what they add to the 'experience'.... let alone how much they cost us punters.🤔And that dog ... Classic.🙂

This is gold my man. So I just pulled out the CB750F DOHC and did it manually with force. It was kind of hard and I will never get it back in the same way. This technique is what I was thinking about but now that I have actually SEEN it, this is how I will het the bike back in! Can I ask you did you use a engine support to actually debolt the engine and so forth? I have mine sitting on the ground on some wood and need to rebuild it mostly and clean it etc .. But at 95 kilo's that ain't easy !

Hi Ian, Just brought a Heritage Classic and have only had a few short trips on it so far. Last one however, butt pain kicked in after about 50 minutes and I was stuck in traffic for another 20 before I could pull over. Thanks to your review and the comments, I can see a Sundowner on the bike sooner rather than later. Cheers from across the ditch.
