@@christiecobb4637 yes, the only way they can cope with their esteem problems is tear others down. Sad but true. Females are the worst. Vicious and jealous. I used to work with an office full of them and they made me physically ill with all their gossip, backstabbing, lies, etc. I got migraine headaches from all the stress and would be incapacitated. God's wrath on people like that is not going to be pretty.

@@christinaescajeda9651 it does hurt. It hurts even more when it's lies. Because someone has an issue with another person and rather than talk about it they actually lie. Even more so though when your expected to apologise to the person who is lying ABOUT you. Personally if people don't like me that's their own right. They don't have to just like I don't have to like everyone I meet. It doesn't mean being rude. People can still be civil towards one another. However many like to take a snippet of conversation and turn it into something it never was. At one stage I had a lie about me written publicly. I asked to have it removed and unfriended that person. The issues didn't stop there though. I was unsure whether the person was someone else using a different name because the spelling was similar. I went to the person I thought it could have been and told them what I had thought and told someone else at the time.. and apologised if I was wrong. I rather they heard it from me than second hand from someone else. When people are playing mind games or causing constant dramas it creates a huge mistrust amongst everyone. People can be seriously hurt by it. I've done and said some shitty things throughout my life and while I'm not proud of everything.. I don't deny saying it. The other issue I have is when people take things out of context. Lack of understanding of what was actually said in the correct context. People lying about who they are online and playing seriously dangerous games to hurt others not just mentally and emotionally but spiritually and even physically is not acceptable. People who get too emotionally invested too quickly or have a desperation for acceptance is equally dangerous not just online but in real life. Truth is if people are lying online.. they are lying in real life and those people live within our societies. For some reason some people see the internet as their playground. Their fantasy land. Some people start to lose the ability to know fantasy from reality because they've been in fantasy so long. So to speak untruths becomes more and more natural or the mentality that there isn't actually a real person with real feelings on the other side of the conversation. This is what infuriates me personally with all the bots. For some people the internet is a chance to step out of their comfort zone and begin to meet and learn to talk with others. Overcoming social phobias or they may not be able to leave their house due to health reasons or immobility. So yes gossip can cause a lot of damage especially when people are purposefully targeting others to gain access or information and in reality with the family break downs in society it could cause some long term implications. It shows she/ he isn't the right person. Don't waste ur whole self in being deceived by them! Stop it. And give it all to the lord ok💕 U are a daughter and u deserve to live an abundant happy life together with people respecting you. Don't let any take advantage of you. Not at all.

Yes I have been struggling with this for years. I didn't realize how wrong it was until now. I often remember things people have done, and I get angry and sad. Then I start talking about them to make myself feel better. It never works. I just go around in the same circle.

There is an actual show called gossip girl and it's downplayed this sin of idle gossip amoungst church folk as they say they are only doing it in order to pray for people.
