What a shame the 148 and many other recent locomotives have been ignored by Pentrex and other video makers. All we see is the Pig Boy! US Sugar has a great operation and deserves more attention. Like the new SD-45!

So it turns out that auxiliary tender was not built in Nazi Germany, it's an old Southern Railway tender. I don't know who told me the "Nazi tender" story but it turns out that's not true, I'm sorry if I may have misinformed you (I have a talent for spreading misinformation). Part of me knew that tale had to be too good to be true anyway... what sort of a war prize is a locomotive tender?

I will never understand why they insist on not using the runaround track that’s at Parrish. Move the loading ramp back about 6 feet, do some track work and boom, you don’t have to push the train 6 miles anymore

Hey Tim. I finally got around to editing my video from the Florida Railroad Museum, should come out either today or tomorrow.

I can vouch it’s a very great museum. Always was, as young as I can remember. My dad was a member for decades and he helped work on the President Washington in the ‘80s. Unfortunately their plans for a repeat of the Fair of the Iron Horse were destroyed along with the roundhouse from the 2003 snowstorm. I so wanted to have that festival!
