I watched a lot of ECV videos prior to mine. I was pretty nervous - it seemed like no one had success stories (including a coworker who said his wife didn't make it five seconds before she called it off from pain). Mine went perfectly! I had an epidural - my OBGYN said she won't do an ECV without the epidural. I felt a lot of pressure as they pushed the baby. They attempted 2x and he moved on teh second attempt. Attempt 1 failed because she lost his head. It was a really weird feeling when he finally moved! I could feel the pressure and them moving his head, and I could feel a dragging sensation on the opposite side of my belly from his feet, lol. And it worked out great because I already had the block and wires set up for the epidural when I gave birth. They left that all there after the ECV so actual epidural went REALLY fast once I was ready for it later.

Thanks for your video, just welcomed our second baby and I can relate to everything! My older son is 2 years old with a newborn sister, and he’s mostly sweet, but I can especially relate to jealously during breastfeeding and sleep issues! Glad to see you are doing well with them both, it gives me hope there is light on the other side (in due time). Appreciate the positivity! ☀️🙏🏻🩷

At first I saw primarily false boy results (meaning they got a "boy" result, when they were actually having a girl) But Ive seen several false girl results too... So I am seriously wondering if Sneak Peak is even testing the freaking blood!?! Or are they just like "well, its a 50/50 shot, lets tell this famiky theyre having a girl..." "lets tell this family girl too.. " "lets tell this family boy..." 😢

I agree, 6:07 when your body is ready you will go into labor. However, I think even those uncomfor contractions are still doing something. I went to 42 weeks and my hubby and I had Intercourse every night for 10 days 😮‍💨😛 but by the time I got to the hospital I was 6 cm. However then labor stalled and it was about 40 hours total with my VBAC. 😮my induction was scheduled for the next day!

I’m a vbac too. Today I’m 40+3 and no signs of labor yet. I had a membrane sweep which led to nothing. I’ve tried natural inducing methods like midwife brew, foot massages, walked 2 hours daily, exercises like squats and lunges but nothing. Only felt uncomfortable. I’m only 1-2cm dilated at 40 weeks with no contractions. I’m getting so discouraged. 🫤

@@vidyaps6806 yes I did on the last day I had which was 41 weeks and 6 days. The risk of letting it be is that the bigger baby is the chances of them pooping inside you and him swallowing it is greater. My baby had pooped inside my belly. It could have been the midwife brew that made me poop and most likely my baby too. It was very risky letting it bw

That 4 hour time of being left alone at 10 cm was just bizarre and probably caused the meconium . If you had had a strong pushing urge your husband would have caught the baby. Noah looks just like my three year old grandson Henry

Contractions were probably more painful from having pitocin oh board even though a very small amount. It makes them sharper

He thankfully flipped right before birth but he ended up Shoulder dystocia. And in nice but he’s not 2months and two weeks and doing better he came out sideways and they didn’t want to turn him for some reason

This is beautiful and encouraging for Christian stay-at-home moms. It's not always easy to be confident that we are doing all the right things. I love what you said about it being ok to make mistakes. Thanks for sharing Meredith.

Aw thank you!! I couldn’t agree more. It’s so easy to second guess ourselves but we have to look to God’s word for guidance and listen to the Holy Spirit’s convictions as He guides us instead of looking to the world and what outside influences tell us about how to raise our kids.

I’m in the same boat, I found out baby being breach was an issue at 36/37 weeks. Been doing spin baby exercises since with no success yet. I might try the ECV at 38 + 4 days. I was terrified to try it too.

I'm going for mine Tuesday 20th February 2024, will be 36 weeks and 2 days. I hope my baby 👶 girl 💝💝💝 turns, but it will be what it will be. If i have to do an epidural i am not doing it, I'll just do a scheduled c-section. Thank-you 🤩 for sharing this video, it is helpful to hear of everyone's experiences.

Yes it’s so helpful!! Writing it down helps me to mentally let the messy space go until it’s time to declutter rather than letting it bother me or feel like I have to get it done right then which is usually an awful idea because I’m also taking care of kids and decluttering with kids is never easy lol

Lol, no. He’s a wonderful dad, the best of the best, but openly tells me he looks forward to going to work, just like he also looks forward to coming home to the kids after being away at work. God designed men and women differently and women naturally are typically better at nurturing their children and taking care of them day in and day out. Can men stay home with their kids and do a wonderful job? Absolutely!!! But that doesn’t mean all men want to be stay at home dads…
