Haha. I always learn something new when you preach but today I had a whole paradigm shift when you spoke on being paid in salt and how important it was in prior centuries. Thank you for your perspective. I ve been in the church a lifetime and have read the Bible front to back and you still caught me off guard with the pharasee and tax collector story. It had fallen out of my memory years ago. It was a good day at church. Glad I came. Thanks.

As a social media manager who spends on average 10hrs a day on their phone, I COMPLETELY AGREE!! I recently moved to NC and only went to LH a few times but I felt a push to go on LH’s KZbin & listen while painting my nails. So glad I did!

Love this episode! I agree with the comment of "robbing our soul". I find it appalling as to how unkind people are to others as they sit behind a screen. It's sad and concerning to see so many dark hearts.

Are listening to podcasts ie jason withlock Joe Rogan and of course simplicity considered social media? I can see where social isolation plays out instead of calling someone I’ll listen to a podcast

Would love to go deeper into gaslighting-when a person won’t accept your forgiveness, nor their own contribution to the action. Is there ever biblical grounds for releasing people from your life? Thanks for all you’re doing!! This podcast has been life changing!

When I was a meditator for the AA conflict resolution center the way they taught us was to have one person speak with out interruption and then repeat back what they heard this would go back and forth and amazingly 70-80% of conflicts were resolved because they were hearing and understanding the issues for the first time listening is a much underrated trait
