I brought 2 little boys up single mom in a 400sqf apartment in Milan, Italy with no cell phones. We DID have lunchtime cartoons, for 1 hour, because in Italy kids come home from school at 1pm and stay home. No relatives to help. And I’m an artist. I’m thinking this is why I never became successful. 😂😂😂 But my boys are. 1 is an artist (MFA @ CCA), and 1 is a chef who consults now. Now I’m wondering if being successful depends also on how many hours one has to dedicate to your art. I love both of your guys’ art so so much and just soak up all you create online. Thank you for sharing!!!

If I use a copying machine, does it make me a writer? I mean, I don't know how to write a novel, copying the book saves SO MUCH time and frustration. I could sell my copied book for less than the idiot who paid to have it published...it would fly off the shelf!

I’d say it depends if you took the picture or not as well as using overlay for a feature on the body or for the entire thing a reference is always okay though

I see kids having a blast I a classroom while learning the proportions of a face and thriving as tiny artists. I hope you give it a try instead of making quick negative judgments on others. 🙌♥️

Of course! They are actually called "switcharoo's" I got the at the kids toy store. They are so cool! There is another version you can get on amazon for around $10, we have them as well and they are great!

I love this. I have a question since You're using oil pastels and all other kinds of mixed media. How do you prevent it from smudging? I don't like using spray varnish, can we put like a gloss gel over it that we brush on?
