I'm not sure if you made any sleeve progress yet but the if I recall the original sleeves were just heat fit by heating up the block and dropping them in. They should be removable the same way. They're not t-topped though so you will need milling once the sleeves are removed to accept the new t-top sleeves it looks like you have.

@RedEyedJackАй бұрын
@jonathanschreindl3575 sorry for the late reply, but any scanner should be able to scan the ECU for codes, but the code text may not match what the land rover specific code is. Scan the codes, then get on the Googler and look up the code and add "Land Rover Discovery 2" to your search.

@RedEyedJack6 ай бұрын
@WilliamMunny-d8s 6'1". You can make the mounts as tall or short as you want. If I had it to do again, I wouldn't use this style seat. I'd find something with a back rest not as "deep" for lack of a better term. The height is fine, but I can not recline the seat at all and wasn't able to use the factory slides so the seat is non adjustable. But the price was right so that's why I used them.

Question. I bought the lucky 8 nosecone for my 2003 D2. If the spring and detent ball are not correctly installed could it make your Hi/low selctor pop out of gear?
@RedEyedJack7 ай бұрын
That is pretty simple to diagnosis. Run the cap screw until it bottoms out gently, then back off two turns. See of that helps. Also check to make sure your selector cable is adjusted properly.
@djwaxstyles17 ай бұрын
The selector cable is adjusted in the correct direction as far as it can go. Maybe dog collar didn't get liner up right? This all started when the CDL nosecone went on. Never had this problem before that. Thanks for your response.
@djwaxstyles17 ай бұрын
I have a question about the hi/low selector shaft. Does the detent ball that holds the slider shaft in gear get held in by the detent is the shaft? In short is the hole that the detent ball and spring go into machined in a way that the ball can't drop into the transfer case? Or does the slider shaft the only thing holding it from falling in the transfer case?
