They would continue to make gigantic hits throughout the 80's but would never so much as approach the excellence, panache, fury and grandeur of their first 2 albums. Early TOTO is simply untouchable. This live recording is a monumental testament to that.

I'll always think they missed a great opportunity to record "Hey Little Girl", which they performed live on thew first tour and some of the Hydra dates I think. Such a great song and should have been released as a single.

People always talk about Jeff, and he was great, but Lukather is also AMAZING, as is the rest of the band. Thanks for all the great music TOTO. Don’t really understand the backup singers here…not needed. But, oh well.
