When I was sixteen, - I'm now seventy seven, I bought a 45 of Ricky Nelson's " Hello Marylou Goodbye heart " and the guitar solo on there changed my life, and made me want to learn the guitar. I was just out of school, and couldn't afford a set of strings never mind a guitar. I now have a Strat and a Tele, an Ovation ( homage to the late Great Glen Campbell ) and a few more. The solo I mention was played by the great James Burton back in the early sixties - a phenomenal guitarist. I have to say though, that favourite of all time, is Albert Lee ! I've been to many of his concerts when he come to the UK ! A humble man with enormous talent.

Bonanamassa bravo ma troppo spocchioso, all'assolo di Pino chiama la chiusura anticipata, gesto che non fa piacere vedere tra bravissimi chitarristi!

Bonamassa poco rispettoso, Pino è su un' altro pianeta, come musicista è più completo.Bonamassa è un grande non lo.metto in dubbio e mi piace ,ma i suoi modi non sono da musicista accogliente,a Pino non gli ha permesso di esprimere il suo talento ha fatto appena mezzo assolo e subito ha chiamato la chiusura

In questa esecuzione evincono palesemente le differenze sostanziali tra due modi di concepire l' Arte. Gli americani amano competere sempre, anche con il loro vicino di casa. Per loro lo Sport è tutto. Gli europei sono profondamente diversi. Amano creare cose nuove, senza esaltarsi davanti al mondo intero. Non sono rimasto affatto stupito nel vedere questa cafonata, tipica degli yankee e della loro storia. Amano vivere da estremisti, apparire sempre a tutti i costi, anche quando a volte sarebbe meglio tacere. Dimostrazione di questo concetto è quanto sta accadendo attualmente nel mondo per mano loro, inviando armi negli scenari bellici in Ucraina, Palestina e chissà ancora dove e per quanto tempo. Stendiamo un velo pietoso.
