Thank you for your podcast! I just started my design journey and am motivated by the types of people I’ve gotten to know through your podcast. Greetings from Germany :)

What a valuable and relatable podcast, nice to know I'm not alone! I stumbled into content design 4 years ago while working at a startup and didn't even know UX existed until the Full Stack Developer told me about it. Since then I've learned on the job, taken some courses with UX Content Collective (highly recommend it), and am so happy I found this path. Imposter syndrome is real but like Andrew said, surround yourself with supportive teammates and continue to learn, any one can do it! Keep up the great work!

Learned a new word "minutiae" 🧠 We need to get Marnina back to us and hear about her experience now. This was a very learny one! Resonated a lot with this one. Hopefully, she didn't wing it as much as I did. And lost between the project vs product responsibilities. Still not sure I have gotten a hang of it but managing it better. Agreed - Startups are fun, maybe I am biased. Everyone is a problem solver and building empathy for the team greatly helps. And engineering teams are fun to collaborate with. You can always do it again - this should be on repeat. Ps: "Noob product manager", going to use this one for myself! 😂

If you aren’t happy in your current role, but you like to design things, stick with UX, and make a lateral move. If you are unhappy because you care more about organizing and facilitating, and you don’t really like to design things, move to PM. In either case, ask yourself what kinds of tasks make you want to come to work in the morning, and find a role that’s built around those tasks.

100% disagree. If you don't like what you do, you won't like managing that work much more. You'll be a terrible boss who makes people want to leave.

Thanks for your perspective. I've worked with and know lots of former designers who have turned to the dark side. 😜 They're some of the best PMs around.

Sounds like you don't really understand what I'm saying. I'm talking about UX designers being unhappy with the current state of Product First and all of the recent changes of PLG and Product governing research and design. What's your real name? I'd love to connect with you on LinkedIn and share more and follow you.

Mirco SAAS tool huh to automate posts using notion? That seems really interesting. Is it live or something internal for the UX playbook only? Ps: I know It's a comment too late but yeah!

So what is the definition of the word and how is it used in a sentence
@beyonduxdesign6 ай бұрын
Great question. In the full episode Dr. D breaks it down like this: "Followership is the decision to ascribe to a process that supports and furthers the manifestation of a mutually defined purpose.” Here's how you can use it in a sentence: "Followership is when you believe in a future vision and do what is needed to help get there, without needing to be told to do it."
