Hi there - I'm delighted you've found my channel!

I'm Dr. Ziri Younsi, an astrophysicist at University College London. I'm passionate about Physics, especially black holes, gravity, and our Universe. My channel is educational and I love making videos from the calculations I perform in my day-to-day work.

My core area of research is black holes, in particular observing them and trying to understand their fundamental nature and relationship with space and time. I'm especially interested in what they look like, and work in collaborations like the Event Horizon Telescope to obtain images of the matter surrounding their event horizons.

I write and utilise my own supercomputer codes to calculate the physically accurate behaviour of radiation (light) and matter around black holes, using these to produce videos like those shown in my channel. All my channel content is entirely original and produced directly as a result of my own research.

At what point is the crossing of the event horizon? Is it around 2:55, when the blackness starts "enveloping" the viewer?

I was looking around at the stars (facing upside down), as I was rotating it back to the normal angle the black hole got realllly close and I started screaming NOO NOO NOOOOO realizing it was too late to turn back. And now my legs are numb from anxiety thank you
