The 8 tile no damage thing is because the fall timer doesn’t run during Coyote Frames. But if your coyote frames happen while whipping, you fall a few units before the fall timer kicks in. Just barely allowing you to avoid damage

As someone who has spent 250 hours playing S2, I never knew about the 8 tile drop without fall dmg and that you can climb ladders/ropes faster with whipping. Very helpful vid

True story. I decided to try low scorer, and with my very first attempt I succesfully made it all the way to the exit door of 6-3. Then I started to worry I couldn't kill Tiamat, because I had only two bombs and no weapon and I hadn't practiced any of the whip strategies for the boss. So I decided to steal a shotgun from the bodyguards but died instead. I don't think I have ever reached Neobabylon since then.

Being cursed is required to enter the ghist shop, a special shop containing high-tier items such as kapala, any backpack except capes, plasma cannon, ressource bag etc. located in 1-4. It's also required to obtain the true crown :)
