I took a road trip last fall 2023 from Minnesota to Prescott AZ to visit one of my sons. I’m retired so I can do some exploring on my trips. On this trip I went diagonally across Colorado through Buena Vista, the Cottonwood Pass, ending that day in Ouray. That was a beautiful drive and Ouray is as good or better than I expected. I got up very early the next morning to head South. It was just getting light in Ouray when I left and the sun came up while I was between Ouray and Silverton. It was stunning. I had a great cup of coffee in Silverton before going on to Durango. The early morning sun from the East and the fall colors were made the drive to Durango one I’ll always remember. I love photography and video but they can’t compare the immersion of your senses being there in person. That was my third trip on Million Dollar Highway and I will be going back! If anybody wants to see epic mountain roads and views, make this drive before it changes. Don’t wait for “someday”, do it now.

With all that engine? It still had less power than a Liter bike from many years ago.

We live in Colorado springs and make it a must to camp in Ouray (You-ray) and visit Silverton. Then in the winter Stay in Ouray , hit Telluride and ski then soak in the Hot springs in Ouray. Great Vid.

Owning both sets of older and newer trinity lenses , the older versions are every bit as good , can be had for £500 each used , one reason going full frame is win win with prices like that , i cant honestly tell you theres ANY benefits over the older versions other than 24-70 has vr , and 70-200 fl focuses closer , but i wouldnt go mirrorless , i love my cameras having mechanical mirrors , thats photography for me , no modern mirrorless camera out does d850s , only in frames per second ,

looks pretty blocky and bulky actually. maybe I will spend the extra money for the more refined Peak Design

I HAVE BEEN ON THESE ROADS SEVERAL TIMES IN A CAR BUT NEVER GOT THAT FAR AWAY FROM HOME ON MY MOTORCYCLE. MY WIFE AND I DROVE FROM DURANGO TO OURAY AND THEN ON UP TO GUNNISON AND BEYOND IN SEPTEMBER 2022. WE MUST'VE BEEN THERE CLOSE TO WHEN YOU WERE....BEAUTIFUL PLACE.

Hi. I think it’s beautiful also. I drove through that area early last April. I was jaw dropping. I was towing a motorcycle on a trailer and I wanted to take the bike through the mountains but there was still some snow and quite a bit of sand on the roads. Spent the night in Ouray and woke up to a blizzard! I like the music behind your video. Can you tell me what it is?
