They charge a bit more but are still an average range price: Adam's Moving has been consistent and well organized the last time I used their services.

@@KyanaKay same for me. I went with Puget Sound Moving when the move was from Belltown to CID. The guy in the office doing the coordinating David B. was kind of the worst at communication and liked to shift responsibility and throw other folks under the bus. This didn't end up impacting my move but it was enough for me to realize I just got lucky and my next move I went with Adam's and it was smooth the whole way through. I'll go ahead and name and shame since I have no platform for folks to go after 😅

Once you're moved, you may like Daiso for cheap, convenient organization solutions. Lynnwood location currently has the best overall stock but the one that opened near Shoreline is not bad either.

You are correct about the pricing differences! I worked in a leasing office for a little bit in Redmond, WA. Nov-Feb had the best prices while May-Sept had some of the highest. Another factor that can impact your pricing is the number of available units and how long units have been on the market. I got a great deal on a move in February when three 2B1B units were all available for rent. Happy to chat sometime if you have any questions about the different areas or property managers. 👍

Ugh, that is ridiculous! They did that on purpose cause they are charging by the hour. You have to share what company so people can avoid them. Lesson learned for you! I’m glad it’s all over!

For the shelves if you look at the top of it with a stool, you’ll see that you can push in the plastic part on top and then slide the shelf up. I don’t even know how to explain it, but I have the same ones. And it took me forever to figure that out; maintenance actually showed me lol

Hi Kyana, ive lived in Seattle all my life and AC units are not required in Seattle. Most apts do not have because it doesnt get hot enough. Its a gorgeous city. I know you will love it.

They don’t call those studios, they call then urban 1 bedrooms. There’s many kinds of floor plans besides studio and full bedroom

I feel like expectations must be low if having a window in the bedroom is a big plus 😅😅 I think you probably chose patio but I would choose cheap because you will only really wanna use a patio a few months out of the year in Seattle.

We stayed in one of these and it sucked for us. My husband is a fireman and can't hear very well, so I had to wear earplugs when I slept, took a nap or read lol And I had to have my laptop set up on the entertainment center for work. But It was a cute little place.

We stayed in Seattle for 8 months after my husband had a kidney transplant. We stayed in several buildings. They all had their pros and cons. Plus we have an almost 2,000 sqf house, to apartments that were between 450-700 was pretty hard!!! lol Loved seeing all of the places you checked out!
